Feet need to be more firmly planted and I need to work on my power arch.

What you guys think.

Not bad, yes though you definately need to use your feet better....all sports require a strong base....benching is no differant.

Working on it, first step is identifying the weakness.

I have a very strong bench despite the base issue, I can only imagine how it will improve

strong bench but as you aleady know it was all upper body. once you learn how to use your legs it will go up quickly.

Thanks brother,
Once I graduate I will be moving to the Columbus area. Hopefully there I can get into a real gym, and join a good team and get some coaching.

In the gym registry. Time will tell where I end up!

I'm a newb at powerlifting.

One thing that really helped my press was a "rack press" from a Brooks Kubik book called Dinosaur Training.

If you search youtube for kubiks bottom bench press you'll see what I'm talking about.

Basically you are benching in a squat rack from the bottom position so set the safety bars down low so you press off your chest.

Its fucking brutal. I can bench 365lbs for a double and 345lbs is all I can do from the bottom position.

However it really helped my press from the chest and balance the bar. I noticed your arms are a bit wobbly.

Very strong raw bench, with a little form work you will be hitting 450.

Once I get in a real gym with coaches I will progress quickly

Super strong. And that looks like a relatively close grip as well. Very impressive. Best wishes on improving your form and achieving new PR's.

Nothing fancy, just raw brute strength powering that up. I can see you doing much more by just tweaking a few things. Great job!

Good stuff, as said above will only get better when you work on technique.

good lift man. as stated above, if you learn how to use leg drive your lift will go up a bit. take it for its worth. keep practicing to better yourself and keep grinding out the weight!
