Pretty damn good guest if you ask me...the show was interesting. Aaron you need to turn your mic down or talk softer....you are significantly louder and more piercing than the others...no offense.

Carl is the one dealing with the volumes... As I'm sure you heard, I had some technical difficulties on my end. Also, sometimes it's a good thing for me to be TOO loud. Trying to get a question in can sometimes be difficult!

Were you guys able to understand Milos's accent? At first it can be hard to get used to.

Aaron, Have you tried both methods of insulin protocol, the one what more or less everyone uses and Milos version?

Would be great to hear what differences you saw or felt when doing boths methods and which one you favour, I am talking really about how big of a difference between the two is for you?

Marcus- Yes I have tried the two ways... At first Milos' version took some experimentation to get the timing/carbs/training/energy just right. I was amazed how much better or worse you can feel depending on just 1iu. For me the magic # was 8ius of Humalog 15 minutes pre-workout. I didn't have access to Milos' supplement line at the time, so I used Champion Nutrition's Amino Shooters (GREAT PRODUCT)... It has (i think) 14g of EEAs and zero carbs.

I just remembered that I posted about this very thing on MD... Here it is:

Ok, I've been PMed a bunch lately about how I've been using insulin, HGH, and EAAs.... Instead of answering each PM, I'm posting here.

I should start this thread out by saying, I don't recommend doing what I'm doing. I don't want the responsibility. With that in mind, I will simply post what I'm currently using, the results so far, and the logic that took me there.

Many people discount Milos Sarcev; I'm not one of those people. He, unlike many others, puts out original ideas and theories. He was one of the very first (if not the first) guys to start using insulin for bodybuilding. He is also the originator of the 10g carbs per 1iu theory. He originally suggested doing a fast acting insulin post workout, as many people still do. More recently he started advocating pre-workout insulin. Of course this can make insulin, which is already dangerous, even more dangerous (to the uninformed). I don't have the time or energy to re-write Milos' theories on pre-workout insulin, but I encourage everyone to do some research on it. Part of his theory revolves around the pre-workout and intra-workout nutrition. Recent studies have shown pre-workout and intra-workout nutrition to be MORE important that post-workout nutrition. Milos sells a intra-workout shake that he claims is the perfect mix of EAAs and simple carbs... to enrich the blood when those nutrients are MOST needed. I haven't tried Milos' product, but I can say that Amino Shooter by Champion Nutrition is a very good product... and with the correct amount of simple carbs, I'm sure it is very comparable (both products claim to use pharma quality aminos). Once again, I encourage you all to do research on EAAs and carbs DURING training. Even without insulin they have been shown to produce some significant results.

What I've been doing:

-20 minutes pre workout- 25g of whey isolate w/20g of Gatorade powder

-5-10 minutes before training- 8ius of humalog

-after humalog shot I begin drinking 6 scoops of Champion nutrition's Amino Shooters (40+g of EAAs and 10g of creatine mono) with 2 packs of Gatorade power (60g carbs) in 64 oz of water.

-I drink regularly after every set and be sure to finish the 64 oz before I finish training. I doesn't taste bad at all... just make sure to heavily dilute it... I sometimes refill the 64 oz bottle twice when half through it.

-After I finish training I immediately use 10ius of HGH and prepare my post workout shake.
Strangely after shooting those 10ius of HGH I often feel HIGH for a minute of so... like a euphoric feeling. After discussing this with Carl Lanore, he believes the large frank growth hormone injection maybe causing the firing off neurotransmitter, dopamine.

-I obviously avoid all fat for a few hours after the post workout shake, and eat a whole food meal within 1-1 1/2 post workout.

Results so far:

I have only been using this method for about two weeks now, but some things have been VERY noticeable...

1) Visibly leaner
2) gain of nearly 8 lbs
3) intense pumps and longer lasting pumps
4) the high feeling after the hgh shot
5) some tightness in hands/knuckles during the day
6) reduced soreness (and I'm someone who ALWAYS gets very sore)

I could have went into much more detail on this whole thing, but since I'm only two weeks into a whole 6 month cycle here, it's kind of premature. I will be sure to keep you all updated, if there is continued interest.

Some of Milos's theories... but just a taste:

MILOS:

I have been talking about it for years but some would just not want to listen...

THE ONLY opportunity during a day when blood flow to the muscle is overwhelming is only DURING the training!

Think!

Normally 5 liters of blood goes through your body with 10-15...OK - 20 % (tops) going to your muscles at rest...

Blood flow increases 5 fold (or more) during intense training...and 60-70...even 80 % going to your muscles!!!

Are you paying attention?

Now, what if that blood is SATURATED with most anabolic nutrients in elemental form - ready to be pushed into the cells (should I say muscle cells)?
Free form aminos - SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS that your body CANNOT manufacture within and therefore MUST be consumed - in right amounts at the right time being in blood which is now delivered to the working muscle with TRANSPORTER (insulin) available and ready to push ALL THE NUTRIENTS (aminos, glucose, ATP...) where they suppose to go (muscle cells off course)...

Think of blood already saturated (with PRE WORKOUT DRINK OF CHOICE) that is continuously being "fortified" with additional nutrients of choice (through DURING THE WORKOUT DRINK - which is taken after each set...)
Now think of the TYPE of the workout that I am using with my athletes (GIANT SETS - crazy intensity, high volume, variety of exercises, angles, principles, grips, speeds...etc...etc - which certainly stimulates MORE muscle fibers and muscle cells than ANY OTHER WORKOUT...) - nutrients IN and OUT...blood flow to the MAX...muscle stimulation extraordinary and CONSTANT...Storage hormone present and ready to "free" super saturated blood from overwhelming amount of glucose and aminos...and cells (muscle cells off course) "screaming" for them....

What do you think will happen?
Empty cells surrounded with glucose and aminos in presence of insulin would REFUSE to take anything as science tells us that body should wait for the "window of opportunity" for that to happen - AFTER THE WORKOUT?

THINK AGAIN!

Well, that's simplified version of my theory which contradicts what is accepted by many experts in field of exercise physiology...

Why it is not accepted yet?
Because nobody really suggested for this to be considered and study to be made...

Do the "study" and publish results...than criticize...
Also, as some would think - nothing new...simple whey, creatine, glutamine, vitargo in any amounts would do it...DON'T BE SO SURE...

It is much more than that...and for patient - everything will be explained...OFF COURSE IF I GET THEIR INTEREST...

First step is: THINK ABOUT IT AND IF YOU FIND IT LOGICAL - TRY IT...and let me know what happens

So from both protocols why is Milos theory better for you? your results so far look good but do you not recieve these from the normal way slin is injected, if not what are your gains from the normal protocol?
