Hair loss??

when your hair falls out its either because a new one is groing in its place or because your losing your hair...heres my question...how can you tell by looking at the hair that comes out when you shampoo your hair, what type it is?? basically when you look at the hair that came out is there any way to tell by looking at the hair, to b able to tell wether or not it fell out because of hair loss or just natural?? i would think maybe wether or not if it comes out with the root??

on average men lose over 100 hair follicles a day.. if you notice this number is increasing.. ie lots of hair in the shower, sink, your pillow sheets.. and your hair is looking thinner and emptier up top.. then you are losing hair.. you can't tell just by the individual hair
