hey tam! the plan for me at this point.....Nationals-only. I might be at another show or 2 to see friends, etc....

hope your prep is going well for NA's! Gary does a great show. The best piece of advice I can give you is make sure you bring your sweats! Back stage it was absolutely FREEZING last year. Alot of girls couldn't get a pump at all. I couldn't see a single vein on my body before prejudging. other than that, it is always a good show. also, bring exercise bands to pump up with, last year, gary said the hotel said no weights due to liability or something like that.

well, there is a pump up room, BUT last year the hotel said no weights. gary sent everyone who had already registered, a letter saying there wouldn't be any weights so bring exercise bands. also, there aren't any people there to oil you up. no pro tan girls, etc....so if you want someone back stage you can buy a trainers pass for like $50 and bring who ever you want as a 'trainer' back stage. those are the only downfalls at NA's. otherwise, the area back stage is plenty big, the stage is really nice-carpeted as well.

So true!!! Get the trainer pass for a friend cuz they don't have any extra people backstage for anything, nor are there any weights.

Question for anybody that may be in the "know": What the heck is the NPC looking for in Figure this year?? I went to the Ronnie Coleman Classic this past weekend in Mesquite, TX and with the exception of the Class A winner, all the 1st place winners looked like they should have been in the Bikini division. As a matter of fact, the girl that took 1st in the tall Bikini class ALSO took 1st in Class D! HUH???

Well Tammy, you should worry about beating the girls in your weight class. And for your info, I was paralyzed at the beginning of 2007. I beat the odds like a soldier and came back to place 8th at my first ever Nat's show. I'm was so happy to be walking upright and having full use of my limbs. Say all you want to. It drives me to train even harder.

i thought no crossovers too - there should be no crossovers or it doesn't make sense on what the fuck they are looking for. they are two different looks/rules on what they are judging.
