IFBB Pro Fred Smalls is one of the better posers on stage, and knows how to present the bodybuilding physique. 2012 has been a positive upswing in his career, first taking Top 5 in Connecticut at the 2012 IFBB Europa Battle of Champions, and most recently placing 2nd at the IFBB Chicago Pro WINGS OF STRENGTH show just a couple of weeks back. He joins Heavy Muscle Radio tonight to talk about what changes he made to both bodybuilding and his personal life that put him on the road to success!

Vitamin shoppe sells their own brand of apple cider vinegar w/ mother.. Don't buy it, it burns the throat terribly. I don't know why, but it was definitely worse than Braggs.

I think he will get it right this year...he took a whole year off just to focus on the Olympia as opposed to doing a show to qualify like he did last year. There is really no excuse to miss his mark again with so much time to prepare and no other shows in his way, he knows that very well. I think George will bring him in his best.

That was a perfect combination of fullness and dryness. Jay really nailed it in 09, so did Branch who was granite hard no one even expected him to place that high or even in top 6, he was always placing middle of the pack at best. I was at the finals for this one, crazy show. I'd love to see Jay bring a similar package to the stage again.

HAHA thats funny Curt...looks like he is going with Chris or George for prep, both are very good choices for him. Jay is one of a kind to set up a prep diet for, he needs to take in astronomical amounts of food just to maintain his size but it needs to be increased as his cardio increases, if not he just flattens to shit... probably needs to diet on more food than anybody which can drive prep coaches crazy, instead of cutting calories they just need to keep increasing them as he gets leaner.

Yea...it would be the most logical decision for him to go back to the Chris, the guy who prepped him since teenage career all the way to winning sandows...Chris knows his body really well and Jay could really use Chris' help right now.

I like to take the apple cider vinegar as a shot and then chase it down with water. It's gross but super quick. Does it matter if I don't mix it with 8 oz of water?

^^^^ Not Dave, obviously, but thought he said he occasionally takes his apple cider vinegar first thing in the a.m. on an empty stomach. Don't believe the 8oz of water is a requirement.
