The Olympia Weekend and FLEX Magazine are proud to announce the 2009 FLEX Magazine's Bikini Model Search. The contest will be held at the Olympia Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall 1 on Friday, September 25 (Judging) and Saturday, September 26 (Finals). The winner of the model search will receive an exclusive modeling contract with Weider Publications, LLC and will appear in the pages of FLEX Magazine.

Contestants will be judged on shape, tone, symmetry, poise and overall beauty. Contestants will be judged individually and in group comparisons.

You must be 18 years or older to enter. No experience necessary.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Body Condition & Overall Beauty - 50% of Score Judges will be looking for fit, feminine contestants who display proper shape and symmetry combined with overall condition and beauty. This is not a bodybuilding contest, so extreme muscularity will be negatively scored.

Stage Presence & Personality - 40% of Score Contestants will be asked to walk in a bikini and high heels across the stage. It is important to mention that two-piece swimsuits are required. Thongs or G-Strings are not acceptable. No lewd acts will be allowed. Judges will be looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey her personally to the audience.

Audience Popularity - 10% of Score The goal is to be charming and charismatic, and to incite audience participation.

* Two piece swimsuit
* Black Cocktail / Evening dress

* Bikini photo of contestant

*Note: Entries must be received on or before September 11, 2009. You must pick up your information packet, Expo entry pass and contestant number at the LVCC Exhibitor Check-In area on Friday, September 25 from 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Please make sure to bring your driver's license or passport. All contestants must report to the back of the Expo Stage by 1:00 PM on Friday, September 25 for judging and at 12:00 PM noon on Saturday, September 26 for Finals. Failure to appear by the stated times, will result in being removed from the competition, and forfeit of entry fee. We encourage you to wear your swimsuit underneath your clothes and have your hair and make-up ready by the time you arrive to the back of the Expo Stage. Please remember that Friday is judging, all competitors must report back on Saturday for the finals so we may announce the top 16.

I wonder how many women will send in their $75 fee. Guess that's a small price to pay for magazine coverage.

"Body Condition & Overall Beauty" should be bumped to 80% of score, though, imo. Split the final 20% between stage presence and audience participation, I guess.

I mean people will cheer for their favorites whether they're the most beautiful or not. And unless they do the Monty Python silly walk, well, how much could go wrong with stage presence?
