As someone who is responsible for tagging photos from shows that our photographers shoot stage pictures at, I have a friendly suggestion for all of you, pro and amateur.
when on stage, when stopping for all of your mandatory turns, be absolutely sure that you face completely forward so that the judges, fans and most importantly, the photographers can clearly see your number on your trunks. If the photographers can't see your number, we can't see your number and in turn, we are unable to identify who you are. what that means is: no pictures in the contest gallery of you!
secondly, never, ever, ever put your hand over your number when posing with a hand on your hip. the same scenario applies. no pictures. below are some random sampels from a show I am tagging today. 11 pictures and since I dont know every MP competitor in the country, you wont get your smiling face in anyones database.
its tough to promote yourself to potential sponsors if there is no documented proof that you were actually at a show and photos to prove it.
