is canned tuna good to eat pre contest cause it hasss alott of sodium

Sodium isn't the issue as sodium is needed especially during a prep. The issue is that canned meat is processed and second-rate meat, at best. If you can't afford anything else then fine but if you can afford real meat, buy it and cook it and you will be better off.
