I figured since I'm sitting around watching the draft today I might as well do a live play by play for everyone.

As of right now here is the order of the first round.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/draft/2009/text-round-one.png
1Detroit Lions
2St. Louis Rams
3Kansas City Chiefs
4Seattle Seahawks
5Cleveland Browns
6Cincinnati Bengals
7Oakland Raiders
8Jacksonville Jaguars
9Green Bay Packers
10San Francisco 49ers
11Buffalo Bills
12Denver Broncos
13Washington Redskins
14New Orleans Saints
15Houston Texans
16San Diego Chargers
17New York Jets
18Denver Broncos
19Tampa Bay Buccaneers
20Detroit Lions
21Philadelphia Eagles
22Minnesota Vikings
23New England Patriots
24Atlanta Falcons
25Miami Dolphins
26Baltimore Ravens
27Indianapolis Colts
28Buffalo Bills
29New York Giants
30Tennessee Titans
31Arizona Cardinals
32Pittsburgh Steelers

We already know that Detriot picked Matt Stafford for the number one pick. They gave him 6 years and 42 million and up to 78 million. Who will be number 2?

I think the Rams will either trade out or take Sanchez. We'll find out in about an hour.

It's offical Mattew Stafford is the #1 pick in the 2009 draft. I don't think Detriot is going to improve much, they don't have a team around him.

Andre Smith is just another in their long list of turds. If Saban couldn't get the guy to fly right, there is no way in hell Marvin Lewis will. I predict Smith is arrested by the middle of the season, at the latest. Though, if he goes to the beach sans shirt, he might get harpooned before he gets arrested.

You gotta love Al Davis. Taking the 4th or 5th best receiver in the draft when the 1st and 2nd best were still on the board. I almost feel sorry for Raider Nation.

Ya terrible job by the Raiders and the Bengals. What do you guys think of Mark Sanchez to the Jets? Think he takes them to the playoffs this year?

Round 1, Pick 5

Not a Jets fan, but Sanchez doesn't have a big enough arm. Sanchez is made for a short pass, west coast style offense. They also gave up way too much.

Crabtree should do well for SF, if someone can throw the guy the ball. Alex Smith is garbage. I'm glad they benched his ass last year.

Crabtree should do well for SF, if someone can throw the guy the ball. Alex Smith is garbage. I'm glad they benched his ass last year.

Alex Smith was the #1 pick in the draft talk about a bust! I never thought that he was going to be good, but I didn't think he would suck this bad!
