I have my first competition in 11 weeks here in houston. I have tried to train and diet for a competition last year but i didnt really know what i was getting into so i mental wasnt prepared. I plan on reaching my goals this time. I finally decided to go with NPC instead of FAME or Fitness America. Here are my before pics.

as you see i have a lot of fat to loose. I want to do figure. Im do the palumbo diet. i weigh 178 and have 11 weeks to go. im hoping to drop 25lbs. I will post my cardio and meal plan daily. Any advice will be appreciated!!!

That's tall to me. lol I'm 5'1ish.

I think you picked the right diet to get the weight off. I'm also following a version of Dave's diet and I feel really good.

Yeah i actually used his services last year and he was great but i wasnt ready for the diet. Wasnt disiplined enough but i am going to keep trying till i get it!

I can see it. You might have to hit 30 posts and get into the NOVICE usergroup before all your options are fully functional. You should be able to see your profile pic, though...

Checking in before my workout. So far so good. I missed a meal due to problems at my job. I am about to go teach a cycle class and work on my back and triceps.

Well, I didnt work out upper body due to the power going out at my gym :( its flooding as well...why so many obstacles when i am trying to workout and eat healthy????

Well the good news is im down 4lbs in one day. I know its all water weight but it was nice to see the scale move.

Well im down another pound. 175. I will start posting my diet and workout here to keep me honest.

Im not sure i have enough muscle for figure but i dont have a bikini type body. I guess i will see once all this fat goes away lol.

protien and almonds
chicken breast snow peas
protien and almond
tenderloin with squash

well im back. I been training with a PT for about a month now. my show is in 11 weeks starting tomorrow. I will be the the the NPC show in houston on oct 24th. Im seeing real progress now so i decided to start a journal again to track my progress. I am 180 this morning. My goal is to get to 150 or under for my show.

My head doesn't feel like someone just kicked me with a steeled toe boot anymore. God does answer prayers.

Im down 3lbs so far.

Today is prot/veg day :( wish me luck!

Dave's diet is already posted on this site. The basic one anyway. He'll change it along the way so it'll be custom to you. I doubt you'd give any secrets away.

Ok good. Always see the pro/fat version but i never seen the pro/veg days posted.

Checking in. Nothing special today. got my cardio in and at clean. Im going to start posting what i eat everyday starting tomorrow to help keep me focused.

I feel so good on this diet. no real hunger pains and my head aches are gone. Yay!
I do feel kind of weird with the cardio. Im use to getting my heart rate up there so keeping it below 130 makes me feel kinda lazy? i dont know its hard to explain. ttyl

Also, I gained a pound back because its that TOM. hopefully the weight will drop off when its over.

Protien/Fat Day
Meal 1: 2 whole eggs 4 egg whites
Meal 2: 35 grams of maxium protien/ almonds
Meal 3: tuna and salad
Meal 4: same as meal 2
Meal 5: steak and asparagus

Cardio: 45 minutes

I had 2 donuts today :( dont really know why they werent worth the guilt i felt after i ate them.

Checking in. Did my cardio. I been eating alot of beef and i think that is causing other "issues" i havent lost any weight yet this week but i think its because im backed up. I almost cheated today. i brought some of my favorite pastries but just put them in the fridge for my cheat meal friday. These pictures are helping me stay focused. I didnt think i looked that bad. 40lbs to go!


Tomorrow is protien/veg day


Meal 1. Egg whites
Meal 2. Protien shake
Meal 3. Tuna and salad
Meal 4 Protien Sharke
Meal 5. chicken and green beans

So i had my cheat meal yesterday at lunch and im up 1lb. I hope to lose that and 2 or 3 more lbs by weigh in next monday.

ok Im back. I rebounded from Fridays cheat. Still down 5lbs. i have 14 weeks left!


Anyone use team bomb shell for posing and all that stuff? was it worth it?

Checking in.

Down to 182 right nwo. im not sure if i am still going to do the competition but i am sticking with it to get this extra weight off.
I ahve started taking Oxy Pro Elite and so far so good. Gives me energy to get through my work outs
