I would like to see an Injury/recovery forum. Perhaps we have a Sports Med Doc that can start it off?

Thanks Curt. Welcomed addition. I look to both assist others and to learn new tricks. I have been lifting for some 60 years and have experienced for myself and seen others work thru amazing set backs.

Dont have a tip but need advice on recent injury

While doing BB Rows I had a very sharp pain in my bicep. No discoloration so far after 4 days but still very tender if I pick up any weight with that hand. It's deep inside the middle of the bicep. Any clues to what I have done?

I guess I should mention we did rack pulls before the rows up to 675.

Mike the good about your injury is that it is not at either attachment point. That would be a tendon/cartillage issue. Bad thing is that it could be a tiny tear in the muscle belly.Painful. I had one of those years ago on the Nautilus Bicep Curl machine. Like a F'en bee sting. I was advised the old Ice 20 min several times a day remedy and to do curls for the next week or so "Hammer" style. On back pulls I never used under or thumbs up grip. Had to use palms down only. Took about 2 weeks.

When I ruptured my pec away from the humerous bone on incline bench it was in front of Troy Alves. That same week he got a middle pec muscle belly tear on the same exercise. (He swares I did voodoo on him). Troy did the Ice and was 100% in a month. I am 20 months OUT and still only 75%.
