Thought it would be nice to get to know some women on the US figure scene...

I'm currently training for the IFBB World championships in october, and i'm the current UK National Figure (bodyfitness) Champion.

Been browsing the forums and it seems like there's some top people on here :)

Hi Louise!! I think I found a good place to train near Mildenhall but I guess I'll have to see for myself when I get there. Thanks for the help and good luck at the Worlds!.

Oh that's great news Phil!
It's several hours a way from where I live so it was difficult for me to locate any gyms! No doubt they'll have a fitness first or something around X

A friend of mine was stationed over there(Lakenheath area) and said she trained at a Powerlifting gym near Bury st. Edmonds that was very "Dungenous and hardcore" so I think that's where I may call home. I need a place to train where I'm not going to be bothered for training with the straps on my squat or deadlift suit down ya know.

Schweeeeeeeet. :D "I thawt I'd give i a go". Is the intended audience for the piece English? There were a lot of establishment shots.

What exactly is the "Body Fitness" class? I notice you don't have to wear those absurd shoes. In NA we have:

Bodybuilding: big muscles, no heels
Fitness: gymnastics, no heels
Figure: changing judging on an almost daily basis, stupid shoes
Bikini: I don't even want to talk aboot this crap (ladies, don't confuse my disdain for the class with disdain for the competitors).

Oh no we have to wear high heels - although I don't think theyre as high as the heels the american competitors wear.. I wore small heels otherwise I would've looked far too tall!
