Isaac had a chance to chat with head judge, Sandi Williamson (formerly Ranali) about the direct of bikini. They discussed a number of things and he'll post a number of things that came out of their discussion. This is coming from the main judge in the women’s world of the NPC.

figure is the softer look that they said they were going to...
figure is not goin back to the hard muscular look that is too close to BB...

i get they are not going to go back to hard, which i didn't necessarily agree with. but so many competitors lack clear defined abs and it seems if you have them you get scored down.

It's good to see some guidelines. I agree with them. If judges and competitors can stick to the ideals there will be a definite difference between all physique athletes from bikini to figure to bodybuilding.

She is perfect.
most of the girls def looked like they did some serious training and dieting down for the show. which is nice to see. i have been listening to the sandy and dave interview. sandy doesn't seem sure what is going to come of figure. she sees bikini going towards current figure - overtime and figure creeping up with the muscularity.

i loved dave asking her if they were really trying to get rid of women's bodybuilding! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
