yeah it was I think 07 when he announced he was battling I think a form of leukemia...I may have the incorrect form of cancer there...but yeah he went through some chemo/radiation and the like...funny thing was he was able to obtain medical marijuana for it but then TMZ caught him at a concert this year smoking up on stage...they were like uh, I don't think this is medicinal!

Anyone remember back in 2002 or 2003 the WWE brought in two wrestlers named Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan? I don't think they were in the WWE very long but I remember the two of them standing in the ring with Brock Lesner and they literally dwarfed him. Online it says that Nathan is 7'1" and 350lbs and Matt is 6'10" and is 305lbs. I read that Matt is at TNA but I'm not sure about that. Does anyone remember them or has anyone seen them wrestle? Since they weren't in the WWE very long I got the impression their wrestling skills weren't up to par with the other wrestlers but that's just a guess on my part.

Nathan Jones was a beast. Not only was he tall but he was in really good shape too. I don't know about his wrestling ability but at the time I thought that he would quickly develop into a headliner. I much rather see Nathan Jones than The Miz.

went to a fcw show last nite, cuz it was at the fair/carnival
i dont like to be negative but damn it was horrible, no crowd response, gimmicks were horrible, wrestlers were GREEN, henning was the champ... lookd horrible, divas suckd except the asian girl,rosie mendez, and alicia fox. the highlight of the show was dj gabriel dancing hes the only cat that lookd good and still messed up 3 spots up in the match. tj wilson lookd ok, but every1 else was horrible tom pritchard and norman smiley were shakin their heads durin the matches cuz all the shity wrestling. i was embarrassed i was asscociated with fcw at a time. they fired every1 good and these new cats never wrestled on the indys and r jokes. u couldnt even tell who the face or the heel was in the matches. tanoshi they ruined from japan, havin him fight a brazialian shootfighter... complete joke.

Same here, he doesnt sell his moves like the other wrestlers, its hard to explain, but his in ring work needs to change.

That whole 'Rated-R Superstar' rock star thing he has going is pretty good. The entrance music is cool too. But that is about where it ends for me. But hell, he has something. Otherwise, he would not be there. Then again, who knows... he probably still would be.

I do not know. But it was a damn shame. The Luchadors and the Japanese wrestlers were so much more interesting than some of the domestic talent.

Sharon do you remember Christie Wolf aka Asya from WCW?
I know that she retired in 2000 but to this day we have not heard a peep out of her camp. You would think that with the TNA womens division blooming she would want to commit to another run at wrestling.

I always loved Christie she was not only beautiful but quite the powerhouse.

On a side note I know Nikki Fuller used to wrestle as well but she gave that up. Sucks but hopefully we will see other Fbb's make the jump. I don't know of any but maybe u guys know something I don't.

PWInsider.com is reporting that "Survivor" star Jenna Morasca has left TNA Wrestling. Her contract with the company recently expired and the two sides mutually agreed not to work out a new deal.

Morasca had only one match in TNA, wrestling against Sharmell at TNA's Victory Road PPV.
