UFE's Stance on Organizations that Ban Competitors for Competing with Other Organizations.

Ultimate Fitness Events want competitors to be aware that we support their efforts to compete in WHATEVER organization they want. We feel the effort and care we put into this organization will speak for itself and we hope that competitors will make UFE one of their choices of organizations to compete with.

However, we have been hearing of another organization that is pompous enough to assume that they can go around banning competitors who want to try out different organizations. This is unacceptable and we ask that competitors take the following into consideration:

First, know your rights. If you are an amateur sport competitor, you cannot be banned from an organization for the simple reason of competing with another amateur organization. You have signed no contract and are under no obligation to anyone. For those who are hearing of competitors that are actually being banned, it is because they have accepted Pro status from another organization or have accepted cash prizes which technically disqualifies them from amateur status. UFE does not designate our top competitors as Pros, rather we call our top competitors Elite division competitors and they sign no contract with UFE. Further, for those that are afraid of being disqualified on account of receiving cash prizes, UFE will allow you to turn down the cash prize and accept an alternate prize at equal value. With this in mind, no organization would have the right to disqualify a UFE competitor and any competitor that receives a threat from another organization about this has the right to ask for it in writing so that they may defend themselves. We will gladly help support any competitor who is put in this situation. Competitors are welcome to contact us at any time to discuss this issue in more detail.

Second, know your worth. Who the heck is any organization to tell a competitor that the competitor needs the organization?! Organizations exist because competitors bring in revenue with entry fees and oftentimes several fans to watch them. Any organization who bans competitors for silly reasons is only shooting themselves in the foot at the end of the day. So take the time to realize what you are worth to an organization and refuse to be bullied. Imagine if an organization actually followed through with banning everyone who competed with another organization...they would crumble! UFE takes a lot of pride in putting on shows of high production value, giving away great prizes and getting our competitors the exposure they deserve. If an organization has to threaten competitors with suspensions and bans because they refuse to or can't step up their game then are they really worth competing with?

So what does UFE have to offer you as a competitor? Here's just some of the highlights:
-CASH prizes at EVERY show. Open class competitors in every category can win $500 or more at every show. This is the equivalent of what many organizations give their pros
-alliances with top fitness publications like Inside Fitness Magazine and Oxygen Magazine in order to bring YOU the most exposure possible
-top industry photographers attend our events including Glen Grant, Liana Saadi, Chris Linton and more who, not only do amazing portfolio shots, but submit their materials to the major fitness publications
-the MOST cash and prizes given away of ANY other drug tested fitness organization in North America at our National Championship event...now standing at $60,000!
-an organization that offers competitors a chance to compete drug free rather than pumping thousands of dollars of drugs into their ass and offering competitors REAL prizes, not just a cheap trophy
-events that make our competitors feel like stars in an environment that allows long lasting friendships to be formed

If you haven't tried a UFE event yet, you need to see the difference. For our competitors that have been with us...hang on for the ride...we're only going to get better ;)

I currently compete in 3- NGA, FAME and IFPA and soon to be UFE and I havent had any problems.
