after a dissapointing injury/season last year i came back to the point where i can place well at collegiate nationals if i can drop back down to my weight class. i'm around 150 now and i need to drop to 132. i've done it before, but at this point i can't afford to let my total drop at all. does anybody have any advice on losing weight while still making gains? i have until dec. 15 to be at my competition weight.

i continued to bulk up to around 165 and then i ended up dropping to the 67.5 kg weightclass. i weighed in at 67.3 and put up a 465 lb squat 275 lb bench and 418.8 lb deadlift and i took second in my weightclass

the greatest success i have in dropping weight whilst maintaining strength is implementing a carb back loading approach with a mild and minimal calorie deficit

Nathan Payton is known for doing this quite well. I know of several people he has worked with and helped them lose 30-100lbs and all of them have gained strength, and hit personal all time records while at the lighter weight, and these are top level amateur and pro strength athletes.

Idk, next time try to get some secrets out from Dan Green. He weighs 245-255 off season, but competes in the 220's
