Whats your typical pre workout food choices ?

Mine are : skim milk, skim yogurt, mixed grains breads , fruits ( bananas or apples )

Do you guys think incorporating fruits instead of complex carbs prior to the weight training sessions would be more beneficial ?
-Dissacharides carbs instead of polyssacharides-.

Why do fruits seems to be more satisfying than breads or other complex carbs ?
