I need help with my diet. I got some fat to lose & my show is in late Oct. Check out my diet & tell me what you think about my diet:

Nutrition

Wake up
20+ oz. water
Cardio-20 minutes (alternate aerobic days and intervals) on aerobic days if you can fit in 30 minutes

Meal I

20 oz. water
1 grapefruit 1 c. pineapple
6 oz. chicken

Meal II

¾ c oats
5 egg whites
1 egg
1 scoop protein

Meal III

7 oz. of salmon or 5 oz. of flank steak or 8 oz. chicken
20 asparagus spears with 3 jalepenos 1 ½ c. broccoli w/ jalepenos
½ c. onion, tomato,
8 oz. sweet potato

Meal IV

1 serving of almonds (1/4 c.) ¼ c. walnuts or pecans
1 pc. of Ezekial with 3 oz. chicken salad or tuna (chopped chicken, mustard, no-salt seasoning, 3 grapes)

Meal V (before workout)

3/4 cup berries ¾ c. cherries
1 scoop protein
½ c. skim milk

Meal VI (after workout)

5 T Cream of Rice 1 ¼ c. Cream of rice
1 scoop protein

Meal VI (before bed)

2 cups spinach 2 c. Romaine
1 cup mixed raw vegetables
1 T olive or flax oil, balsamic vinegar
6 oz. orange roughy, tilapia, or tuna steak
½ c. cottage cheese or ricotta (low fat) 1c skim milk

Personal details help a tad. You say you have some fat to lose, but also mention a show you're doing. I think you might know how to give out some personal details.

I'm at 285 lbs right now. I'm gonna be competing at Super Heavyweight & I hope to compete around 240-250 lbs.

There are so many variables to take into consideration. If you post up some pics to show where you're at it would help. You may be in decent shape and not need to start a diet just yet, or it may be the exact opposite and you may need to be doing 2 hours of cardio from the start.

I have to second that, especially being around 20 weeks out, i would also recommend sipping on some bcaa's during that morning cardio.

your last meal before bed looks very large is that considered your dinner?

since your post workout is pretty much gonna be absorbed quickly, have you thought about moving that large meal to 1 hour after your postworkout and then having ssome eggs and cottage cheese before bed
