I think I tore my proximal bicpes tendon doing weighted pull ups. No bruise but there is a visible change in the shape (no bulge, it actually flattened the top of my bicep). I am going to see an ART specialist today, and maybe an ortho. Does anyone have experience with Active Release techniques? Is it worth it? I want to rehabilitate w/o surgery and I don't think it is a full rupture.
Are these types of injuries unsual for the 40 plus BB or am I just falling apart? I have torn nearly every mucle in my body, except for lats and traps? I don't train heavy anymore and do movements slowly.
