Anybody incorporate this into their diet? I never really see pork in bodybuilding diets, but it seems to be a good choice, its almost as lean as chicken and has a comparable amount of protein. Is there any particular reason that this is avoided in most diets? I cant even remember the last time I ate pork but I'm always looking for new things I can use in my diet to keep it fresh.

I love pork - and eat tenderloin a few times a month. If the ground pork is lean, find out how lean by reading the package. It might be ground pork tenderloin....

Per 4oz or 112g it had 6g of fat, 110mg of sodium, and 35g of protein. I have never tried it so I'm not sure if I would like the taste but it seemed like a viable option to replace a chicken meal here and there to break the monotony.

Some bad pork tenderloin ended my fledgling bodybuilding career back in 1995.

I haven't touched it since.

Tenderloin is often leaner than chicken breast. The other white meat is definitely your friend.

I use 6-8oz of lean ham steak with my eggs for meal number 2.

I used to do the same thing, Prior to bed thought. 6oz with 4 eggs srambled w/ cheese & salsa to be exact! usually went to bed happy.

It also has more flavour than chicken, which helps break up the monotony of a diet
