You do what is best for you, that is all you can do. I never want to compete, it doesn't do anything for me. But those who do have my respect.
I will give it a shot. Someone once gave me a goal, so I intend to meet it. Thing is, as I do not like attention, or wish to subject myself to the belittling that will surely come from a select few, I will not make anything public, and when I am revealed to be in any contest, it will just be a shock and surprise to everyone.
Nope, never. No banana hammock for me. I have been lean my whole life and now my goal is to get as big as I can. I am up 23-24 pounds since I started my cycle, need to see where I can get too. You wanna compete?
Any plans to ever compete? I would be interested in knowing what that does for development. I want to try to step onstage at some point next year.
I use Hammer machines all the time, and dumbbells too. That way I can control the range of motion and the plane of travel to stay pain free.
Will do. I might have to take the first two shoulder sessions on Hammer Strength machines just to be safe.
Mine are jacked up from work stuff, military duty etc. Just be real careful. Ice it and use Ibuprofen sparingly if needed. Warm up real good when you get back in the gym and if it doesn't feel right, stop.
Damn it. Well, I will definitely take it easy the next few days. I will know better by Monday what the next move will be. I find it strange how we hardly ever hurt ourselves in the gym, but it always happens outside of the gym.
Takes about 15 minutes to warm up, have to lift much slower and stretch after. I do rotator cuff exercises 3-4 days a week as well. Somedays I have to drop training weights as well if they hurt.
