I got lucky because I could spend last 5 days in Birmingham with Milan Kinc
http://forums.rxmuscle.com/showthrea...uilder-17years - helping him with english. He was invinted there by his coach Neil Hill so he can finally train with him, meet some people including his sponsor from SSN Nutriton. We hard really great time and met several interesting people and I hope I get out there next year again.

The biggest bodybuilder at the expo! Martin Kjellstrom looked really huge but was in great shape. His weight around 330.

Flex Lewis' girlfriend Ali Rosen and his little brother Luke. We trained with him and Flex at Friday. Great guy.

Future trainer of champions and one of the most knowledgable guys in bodybuilding. Nobody in UK knew Pakman! I was shocked. There were 60minutes long lines for top bodybuilders but nobody for Ben. I was able to talk to him for 5 minutes about HIIT, legs training etc. Great inspiration.

Ok I won't be able to talk with Joe Weider but Tony Doherty is definitely one of those people who did so much for the sport and for me he's Australia's Joe.

Yesterday we took very expensive taxi and went to Temple gym. We got really lucky because after 10 minutes Dorian came and trained his client. For me and Milan it was one of the best experiences we've ever hard. Dorian was huge and watching him helping the guy with back workout was so great. We took picture with him in front of this wall.

We talked to everybody except Jay and Phil. They had really long lines. We met Kai at the hotel and went home from gym with Kris Gethin and his wife Marika Johanssen-Gethin. I was surprised how big line Rich Piana had and his T-shirts were sold out probably saturday afternoon. Universal were sold out too. Roman Fritz was really popular and people probably knew him. Or maybe it was because he was the most shredded guy at the expo. He trained in the same gym with us too. Damn he works hard.

I know it's his pro debut, but I would be interested to hear what people think this guy can actually do... He's a freak WITH SHAPE... idk... If he gets really peeled and comes in full... Dare I say top 3-4 at the O? But I guess we will have to see condition wise where he comes in... could be another Victor situation where he has all the potential and shape in the world but just doesn't quite bring the condition...

I haven't seen many guys jump on the scene with this much potential...

I am interested in peptide for rugby and bodybuilding, but mostly rugby for now.
Curious if any members here have used peptides for a sport rather than for bodybuilding. I know slin, ghrp + ghrh, and IGFs are used highly among athletes just curious as to what doses of what a typical one would run.

I am interested in a Mod GRF and GHRP-2 run of both at 50mcg per day shot 3 times per day. Would this dose be effective for recovery? I have seen some athletes use solely CJC's without a GHRP because they hold more water with the GHRP. I want to use both at a slightly lower dose, as water retention isnt much of an issue for me and rugby.

I have recently made transitions into some Olympic lifting for rugby training purposes. I am doing snatches, cleans, jerks, and a few others.

So far I have done snatches as I recently made the switch.
My PR on snatch this morning was 215.

I am 6'1, 215 pounds, and 21 years old.
My bench is 405, 520 squat.

But I am interested in what is considered "Strong" for snatches, cleans, jerks, clean and jerks, and squats for a guy my size. I realize my bench and squat are pretty decent already.

Hi

We have allot of drugtests in my country,at every show they come and control
everybody that is competing, but i heard from friends who also compete that they
cycle but just keep the mind with the detection times so they can piss negative and past the drugtest 'clean'

Here is my idea

I have my pct in 3 weeks,my show is Mai 2014!

Remember THIS is based on detection times!

Nov:Test-e / Primo / Tren-e / D-bol
Dec: Test -e / Mast-e
Jan: Test -e / Mast-e / Winny
Feb:Bridge Test-P !
Mar:Test -p / anavar / eca stack
Apr: test-p / anavar / winny-clen (2weeks on/2off)
Mai: week 1 : test susp / clen / eca
week 2 : the same
week 3: only test susp until 3-5 days out

This is about what they do,to passed the drugtest.

I'm 23,1.78m, 89kg @ 8% now
Goal bulk: a lean 92-94,from there to pre contest

Thnx!

Being in tune with your biological and circadian rhythms is a widely overlooked advantage in the quest for the idea physique.

So I've been pretty busy nerding it up with Low Carb Central and figured some folks here might like an update.

ZERO NOODLES. These are a big deal. Shirataki noodles that are Carb/Gluten/Fat/Sugar free - 5 calories per 100g serve. They are also certified organic and have about 1/10th of the smell! Yep - almost stinkless noodles.

Shipping Advisor saves you dollars! Our cart now tells you more than how much $$ you've racked up, but also how much in shipping you'll pay AND how much more you can fit in your cart before the shipping goes up!

We got started on our new ZERO CARB section. Feedback from the bodybuilding crowd was clear: you don't just want low carb, you want NO CARB! No problem - we centralised everything we had as close to zero carb as possible.

Quest Bar supply stabilised (finally!). We've pretty much got them in stock 100% of the time and if you don't know about the awesomeness that is Quest, you should! The Choc Chip Cookie Dough bar is still head and shoulders above anything else.

Sauces & Condiments - massive selection now. The Guy's BBQ sauce is amazingly good, as is the Heinz reduced sugar - both are 1g carbs and fat free.

More flours - with the Atkins Baking Mix and the Carbalose Flour, almost any baking is back on the menu. Note: Both much are cheaper per kilo than the LC Foods flours, but not quite as low carb.

Also - we're mid development of a brand new store that will have custom product filters in place - so you'll be able to just say "show me everything at 1g carbs or less" or whatever it is you're chasing. Additionally, it's being rebuilt from the ground up for mobile devices. No more going sideways just to use the bloody thing.

The new site is about 1-2 months away, but it'll be awesome - leaner, faster, and mobile friendly.

That's about it for now. As always - any questions or more info - just post away or hit me up in a PM.

Cheers!

World Renown Heart Surgeon...

I've been saying this for years now..........stay away from refined carbs and pro-inflammatory fats.................

World Renown Heart Surgeon Speaks Out On What Really Causes Heart Disease

We physicians with all our training, knowledge and authority often acquire a rather large ego that tends to make it difficult to admit we are wrong. So, here it is. I freely admit to being wrong.. As a heart surgeon with 25 years experience, having performed over 5,000 open-heart surgeries, today is my day to right the wrong with medical and scientific fact.

I trained for many years with other prominent physicians labelled “opinion makers.” Bombarded with scientific literature, continually attending education seminars, we opinion makers insisted heart disease resulted from the simple fact of elevated blood cholesterol.

The only accepted therapy was prescribing medications to lower cholesterol and a diet that severely restricted fat intake. The latter of course we insisted would lower cholesterol and heart disease. Deviations from these recommendations were considered heresy and could quite possibly result in malpractice.

It Is Not Working!

These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible. The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a paradigm shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated.

The long-established dietary recommendations have created epidemics of obesity and diabetes, the consequences of which dwarf any historical plague in terms of mortality, human suffering and dire economic consequences.

Despite the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before.

Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.

Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.

Inflammation is not complicated -- it is quite simply your body's natural defence to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders. However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process,a condition occurs called chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial.

What thoughtful person would willfully expose himself repeatedly to foods or other substances that are known to cause injury to the body? Well, smokers perhaps, but at least they made that choice willfully.

The rest of us have simply followed the recommended mainstream dietthat is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels. Thisrepeated injury creates chronic inflammation leading to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.

Let me repeat that: The injury and inflammation in our blood vessels is caused by the low fat diet recommended for years by mainstream medicine.

What are the biggest culprits of chronic inflammation? Quite simply, they are the overload of simple, highly processed carbohydrates (sugar, flour and all the products made from them) and the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.

Take a moment to visualize rubbing a stiff brush repeatedly over soft skin until it becomes quite red and nearly bleeding. you kept this up several times a day, every day for five years. If you could tolerate this painful brushing, you would have a bleeding, swollen infected area that became worse with each repeated injury. This is a good way to visualize the inflammatory process that could be going on in your body right now.

Regardless of where the inflammatory process occurs, externally or internally, it is the same. I have peered inside thousands upon thousands of arteries. A diseased artery looks as if someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall. Several times a day, every day, the foods we eat create small injuries compounding into more injuries, causing the body to respond continuously and appropriately with inflammation.

While we savor the tantalizing taste of a sweet roll, our bodies respond alarmingly as if a foreign invader arrived declaring war. Foods loaded with sugars and simple carbohydrates, or processed withomega-6 oils for long shelf life have been the mainstay of the American diet for six decades. These foods have been slowly poisoning everyone.

How does eating a simple sweet roll create a cascade of inflammation to make you sick?

Imagine spilling syrup on your keyboard and you have a visual of what occurs inside the cell. When we consume simple carbohydrates such as sugar, blood sugar rises rapidly. In response, your pancreas secretes insulin whose primary purpose is to drive sugar into each cell where it is stored for energy. If the cell is full and does not need glucose, it is rejected to avoid extra sugar gumming up the works.

When your full cells reject the extra glucose, blood sugar rises producing more insulin and the glucose converts to stored fat.

What does all this have to do with inflammation? Blood sugar is controlled in a very narrow range. Extra sugar molecules attach to a variety of proteins that in turn injure the blood vessel wall. This repeated injury to the blood vessel wall sets off inflammation. When you spike your blood sugar level several times a day, every day, it is exactly like taking sandpaper to the inside of your delicate blood vessels.

While you may not be able to see it, rest assured it is there. I saw it in over 5,000 surgical patients spanning 25 years who all shared one common denominator -- inflammation in their arteries.

Let’s get back to the sweet roll. That innocent looking goody not only contains sugars, it is baked in one of many omega-6 oils such as soybean. Chips and fries are soaked in soybean oil; processed foods are manufactured with omega-6 oils for longer shelf life. While omega-6’s are essential -they are part of every cell membrane controlling what goes in and out of the cell -- they must be in the correct balance with omega-3’s.

If the balance shifts by consuming excessive omega-6, the cell membrane produces chemicals called cytokines that directly cause inflammation.

Today’s mainstream American diet has produced an extreme imbalance of these two fats. The ratio of imbalance ranges from 15:1 to as high as 30:1 in favor of omega-6. That’s a tremendous amount of cytokines causing inflammation. In today’s food environment, a 3:1 ratio would be optimal and healthy.

To make matters worse, the excess weight you are carrying from eating these foods creates overloaded fat cells that pour out large quantities of pro-inflammatory chemicals that add to the injury caused by having high blood sugar. The process that began with a sweet roll turns into a vicious cycle over time that creates heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and finally, Alzheimer’s disease, as the inflammatory process continues unabated.

There is no escaping the fact that the more we consume prepared and processed foods, the more we trip the inflammation switch little by little each day. The human body cannot process, nor was it designed to consume, foods packed with sugars and soaked in omega-6 oils.

There is but one answer to quieting inflammation, and that is returning to foods closer to their natural state. To build muscle, eat more protein. Choose carbohydrates that are very complex such as colorful fruits and vegetables. Cut down on or eliminate inflammation- causing omega-6 fats like corn and soybean oil and the processed foods that are made from them.

One tablespoon of corn oil contains 7,280 mg of omega-6; soybean contains 6,940 mg. Instead, use olive oil or butter from grass-fed beef.

Animal fats contain less than 20% omega-6 and are much less likely to cause inflammation than the supposedly healthy oils labelled polyunsaturated. Forget the “science” that has been drummed into your head for decades. The science that saturated fat alone causes heart disease is non-existent. The science that saturated fat raises blood cholesterol is also very weak. Since we now know that cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease, the concern about saturated fat is even more absurd today.

The cholesterol theory led to the no-fat, low-fat recommendations that in turn created the very foods now causing an epidemic of inflammation. Mainstream medicine made a terrible mistake when it advised people to avoid saturated fat in favor of foods high in omega-6 fats. We now have an epidemic of arterial inflammation leading to heart disease and other silent killers.

What you can do is choose whole foods your grandmother served and not those your mom turned to as grocery store aisles filled with manufactured foods. By eliminating inflammatory foods and adding essential nutrients from fresh unprocessed food, you will reverse years of damage in your arteries and throughout your body from consuming the typical American diet.
First and Foremost big thank you to AF DAVE for the packages of the Quest Pasta

Profile

Spinach Fettuccini
4g Carbs/4g Fiber (Per serving , and there are 2 servings)
Spaghetti

Smell
Upon opening the package it said there would be an aroma from the noodles sitting in the liquid prior to breaking the seal, when I did open the package I really did not smell much, just simply drained them for about 2 minutes under running cold water before I did go to cook them

Texture
Quite unique, they are very spongy/soft as you would expect from a very low calorie noodle. I have never tried the “Miracle” Noodles so I have no idea how those would taste or their texture, so this was very new to me. I usually cook my pasta for around 6-7 minutes not very soggy, but just enough so that if you threw it against a wall it would stick (old Italian trick)

Taste
I kind of had mixed feelings trying a low calorie noodle, but the be honest I barley tasted the spinach in the noodles (Being they are bring green) it was just a spongy texture that you really tasted in all reality. I made a homemade alredo sauce and then diced up 6oz of chicken to throw in there as well, and the flavors complimented each other very well and aided with the overall taste of the entire dish, since its in a Tupperware container its not the most “Appealing” Picture, but then again eating green noodles seems a bit odd at first (like eating green ketchup). For the calories you have to give these a high score considering the whole amount of pasta is 32 calories and all fiber.

Price
3.39$ per container, yes it is a bit on the pricey side, but then again your buying quite a bit of pasta pre-cooked and its only 32 calories for the spinach and 16 calories for the spaghetti, pretty remarkable. I looked up the Miracle Noodles and those are around 2-3$ (location) per package. So in essence these are right on part with competition on the market (as far as those in grocery stores). So you really cant knock off much here as far as rating/points go because its competitive and unique to the market.

Overall
For being on a contest prep diet towards the end of the final stretch this may be something I would consider (Seeing my carbs never dropped below 200g for both of my shows/contest preps) and a nice alternative to something else you may have on a given day (whatever you use to fit your micro’s/macro’s for your calories) but all in all for those who carb cycle and do lower carb days it may suit them well (or low-carb in general) for those who thrive off carbs in their diets it may be harder to justify the price. All in all it will be personal preference in the end

Post Show WTF - repost of a great blog

I thought this was a great & very real summary of the competition lifestyle and managing the extremes of it. For any new competitors, this rings soooo true. I can't tell you the importance of keeping an even keel in your actions as well as perceptions and behaviors going thru prep to post prep. By definition, it is extreme, but you can still accommodate the extremes w/ some patience, common sense, realistic expectations and understanding that the whole thing is about phases and managing the goals and transitions between the phases and goals for overall better health and ability to go forward.

The things we're manipulating to get on stage are the things that fundamentally make up who we are - thru diet, ultra focused training, and ultra restrictive schedules of recovery, stress - we are stripping out all the other "average" stuff in our lives and getting down to what makes us survive, what makes us female and what makes up the personalities and biochemically operating machines that we are: hormones - stress hormones, sex hormones - all the things that our body uses to manage our moods, our body's optimal functioning, our ability to survive and reproduce.

Going into showtime is usually so well-defined and focused, but coming out of a show, there's usually no plan, and you're leaving your body to figure out wtf is going on when suddenly it is left in a very survival-threatened state and your expectations aren't set up for what follows.

Just as we do all of the stuff we do to manipulate our body chemistry (ultimately manipulating your hormones .. and I'm not speaking strictly about steroids) - post show, the body has to some how get back to "normal" (find homeostasis) while you're not quite sure what to do next - your impulse is to go pound every food you've restricted from your diet for the last 4 months while expecting your body to stay as great as it looks for all the work you put in. And then suddenly it doesn't stay that way, you have no more show to focus on, so suddenly there's no structure to your day, you don't "have" to diet & train & cardio like you were, you are looking softer as each day goes by, and you're noticing you have lost your "purpose", your drive and now you're getting depressed, even tho your trophy & photos from all your work are sitting in front of you in all their glory.

Everyone around you probably stopped talking to you weeks ago because you were so focused on prep and everything you did came w/ constraints. And now even your competition buddies have moved on. WTF?

Enjoy:

Link: http://jen-fits-playground.com/2011/...so-what-now-2/

The Big COMP is over - So what now??

So what now?

The big day is over.

After months of preparation, managing every detail, 2-a-day and sometimes 3-a-day cardio sessions, increased lean protein requirements, decreased carb requirements, less fruit, more water, less sodium, less dairy, less whey and protein powders, more sleep, less energy, more nerves, less bodyfat, more excitement – it’s finally over.

I can speak for Figure only, but I would assume it’s the same for both bikini and bodybuilding as well. From the moment I decide to compete and fall within that 3-month “golden” window, my life changes. Everything becomes about the show. My diet, my look, my physique, my workouts, my energy, my shoes, my jewelry, my hair, my nails, my waxing/shaving, finding the next bathroom, everything. It can be a very selfish and self-absorbing sport. I acknowledge that.

Even when I’m amidst the process I can sense it. I’m always thinking about it – nearly obsessing about it. And it’s bound to rub off on those around me.

My husband feels it.

My family feels it.

My friends feel it.

My life suddenly becomes part of their problem because “I” (the friend with strings) comes with requirements. I am more than vocal where I want to eat, what I want to do, what time I need to be home, when I want to go to bed, and most certainly where’s the next bathroom I can “pee”.

My life becomes even more structured than it already is during the off-season and my friends and family members feel the adverse effects of it.

Here’s an example. Not too long ago we went with some of our closest friends to Coldstone – a place I’d NEVER go during contest prep. I ordered the medium size deluxe version ice cream with all the extras – my favorite. My best friend’s husband commented on my appetite (this isn’t new – now that I think about it my other friend’s husband did the same thing on the cruise – I can eat).

Anyway, I reminded him of all the months I didn’t partake. of. anything. With which he commented, “Yeah, we like THIS Jenny better”. I understood his frustration. When I’m competing I’m not as fun. Sometimes I don’t even like myself.

But the big day is worth it. Every challenge, trial, and temptation leads up to that one single-most anticipated day. And there’s no denying how memorable and satisfying competing can be. There’s nothing like it. It’s surreal. You’re at your best physique-wise. You’re gorgeous. You’re wearing a stunning blinged-out suit. You’re dolled up. You feel every bit a barbie and Ms America combined. And you feel strong. And shapely. Sports Illustrated doesn’t have anything on you. You’re every bit as sexy, and you have the delts and the abs to prove it. The day of the show is the sum of all your hard work combined.

But after the show? Then what?

I’m usually on a cloud for about a week after. I’m still excited. I’m still floating around from the memory. Everyone’s still asking me how I did, how I placed, how I felt, to see pictures. I’m still tan, and many times my muscles are fuller after the show because I’m no longer restricting my body from some of the “taboo” foods. For the first week my body is thankful for the break. I don’t run. I don’t really train, and I definitely rest.

But beyond a week? Then what?

It’s usually about that point I start to feel a little lost. For me once the show is over I wander a bit. After months of living, breathing, training, and eating by a very strict schedule, it’s the first time I’m once again on my own. And odd as it sounds, I don’t know what to do with myself.

Granted I managed to take care of myself for 37 years before I ever competed, but competing changes things. It’s rigorous and a lot of hard work. After my first show I felt sluggish, unproductive, and let-down.

Most competitors refer to this as the post-comp blues.

A lot of women fall in to depression.

Many women lose themselves in food. They start eating anything and everything they possibly can because their diets were so restricted for several months. At first their bodies burn it off as quickly as they consume it, but it catches up. I’ve had some competitor friends who have ballooned up – gaining anywhere from 15 – 35 pounds – finding themselves bigger than they were before they decided to compete.

Then there are some women who go the other extreme and continue to watch their diets oh so closely, cutting as many of the extras out as possible – fats, or carbs, or calories, or any combination of them. This was me last year.

I loved the way I looked at competition so much that afterward I continued to log everything in Livestrong, and I had this sick mental game going on in my head that tried to restrict as many fats as I could. It was twisted. If I could get my fats to 10% and lower, I was happy. If I could keep my calories to 1600 and lower, I was elated. I knew what was right and wrong, but mentally I didn’t care. I wanted to look a certain way. It wasn’t until I bottomed out last Fall and discovered I had hypothyroidism after the Top of Utah marathon that I realized I’d done my body more damage than good. It was the wake-up call I needed. And now I’m happy to say I get my fair share of calories and fats. **smile** I only share this with you because it can happen to ANY of us.

The reality is…competition is a lot harder after the show than beforehand. No one can understand the mind games but you, so it’s incredibly important to have a game plan.

I think the key is to realize that #1 you are completely normal if you are concerned after the show about gaining weight, gaining body fat, and losing definition. I’d venture to say every competitor is concerned about this. It’s just the reality. The fact that you acknowledge it will hopefully help you address it head-on.

Don’t try to live up to unrealistic expectations. Your friends will comment about how incredible you looked at the show. Take it in. Enjoy it. But realize it’s not realistic to maintain that look. Don’t expect it of yourself, and don’t let them expect it of you. We should all be proud of our days on stage, but to stay that lean year-round is not healthy. Women compliment me all the time on my shows pics, or pics I’ve had taken within month or so of competing. They ask how “they too can get that physique.”. I remind them (quickly) that those pictures reflect a very small window of time. They are not realistic of what Jenny looks like year-round. Sure, I still have definition, and I still have my muscle base, but there’s a lot more softness and cushion that comes with it. Don’t feel you need to live up to other people’s unrealistic expectations of you.

Have a plan…a meal-plan that is. This will help you from over-eating and from under-eating. Ideally have that plan ready to implement within a few days after the show. Enjoy those first couple of days. Indulge. Have a few treats. Enjoy the things you restricted yourself from. You deserve it. You worked hard for them. But then get back on track. I’m not saying completely go back to the restricted eating program you had before, but have some guidelines. Identify how many calories, carbs, fats, proteins, and sugars you want to maintain on a daily basis. What are some of the foods and meal options that fit within those macros? If you can’t figure it out, seek help. You want to have a variety, several options in your “arsenal” you can pull out on a daily basis to keep your diet interesting, exciting, AND clean. By having that plan (or plans) ahead of time, you have something to refer to after the show – which is when you’ll need it most. Remember you don’t want to overeat or undereat. I’ve seen both.

Lastly, set a new goal. I really feel this is important. After training and prepping for so long for such a big event, it’s normal to feel a little depressed and melancholy about it being over. Set a new goal. It could be another show, another hobby, another endeavor, adding more muscle, running a race, or something completely different all together. Have something to focus on that grabs your interest, time, and energy. The more you are focused on working towards a new goal, the less likely you’ll be be sad about the show being over.

Competing is a huge feat. It’s a wonderful example of mind and spirit over body. It’s beautiful. For any of you who have competed or are competing, you should be so proud of yourself. Have no regrets. It’s one more quiver in your hat, a bucket-list item.

The post-comp blues are normal. You can get through it though, and with proper planning and acknowledging it for what it is, you’ll be on a better track than without. Each of the three seasons I’ve competed (the spring, the fall, and again the next spring) I’ve learned many new things about myself.

It’s gotten easier. I now know going forward what to expect, what to do, what not to do, and how to avoid the mistakes I’ve made in the past. And I’ll compete again. Next spring. Hopefully this time smarter and more aware and better prepared than in seasons passed.

I hope this random post in some way helps you too.Good Luck competing GALS. I’m with you all the way!

My bodybuilding vids have been blocked from Germany. Not that I care if they see them, just curious if anyone is familiar with that countries policies that would cause them to be blocked.

Here is one of the vids they blocked. It is a decent video. (just curious as to why)

Thought I might record this process for posterity and hopefully a few people will find some help in reading this.

A little history:
I've been lifting since 1981, I'm currently 47 years old and have been competing on & off in FBB over the last 12 years. Last show was Oct, 2010 As far back as the early 90s I recall having pain in my right shoulder when I used one of those seated (chair-like) pec decks, but that was really the only thing I ever noticed. Around 2005 I was doing too-heavy behind-the-head barbell presses and went too low on a rep and tweaked my shoulder. An MRI just showed bursitis and no tears.

After a show I did in 2007, I started noticing a lot of pain in the right shoulder, and a weird feeling that later I found out was arthritis in the joint. I decided to get an MRI because it was really getting painful. The result of that was a suspected pinhole tear in the rotator. A month of PT did nothing, so I asked for a second opinion and surgery. Following arthroscopic surgery, they never found any tears but removed the arthritis, cleaned up a bunch of frayed tendons and scraped down my clavicle a little to reduce inflammation when the area got irritated.

After a month of PT, I was back to 100%. I competed 3 more times across 2009-2010 w/ fantastic results and no pain ever. Then I got the brilliant idea to do 30 lb Arnold presses a week out from my last show in 2010, too heavy, too depleted, and tweaked it. It has been off & on sore every since, not painful but just sore, and gets tired pretty quickly during lifting. The result of a back day is all the little muscles around the shoulder end up doing all the work, my scapula gets pushed out and frequently I have a rib or two out of place, so I visit the chiropractor regularly.

Since then, I've been started experiencing more of that shitty aging thing and w/ the inception of Women's Physique, I've decided to begin downsizing and focus on that category for competition. However training has been near non-existent because of the plethora of tendonitis I have at this point + age + the shoulder + a boatload of foot problems. Mostly I just gave up for a while and focused on diet. I've gotten the foot issues hopefully on the mend, and decided to tackle the shoulder now.

First step: MRI to get a baseline and confirm that there's no tears
Conditions the MRI was taken under: no shoulder or upper body training for several weeks. I did happen to roll over and sleep on my right side the night before so it was a bit sore. So this is a fair representation of my shoulder in a "normal every day state". I figure if it only takes sleeping on it to make it annoying, prep training is going to screw me. Thus this whole effort to fix things.

Findings:
The humeral head is normally located within the glenoid (or as my chiro likes to correct - it isn't "within" but rather "hangs off of" because the shoulder is not a true ball & socket joint, e.g. like the hip). There is a no joint effusion. There is a large amount of fluid signal in the acromioclavicular joint (more commonly known as the "AC joint") with widening of the AC joint space. The widening measures approximately 7 mm. The acromiom is slightly curved downward. There is a small amount of fluid within the subacromial bursa.

There is no muscle atrophy. Mild tendonosis (scar tissue build-up around the tendon) of the supraspinatus tendon is seen, with mild intramuscular strain of the supraspinatus at its myotendinous junction. (Basically there is some seperation / compromise of the point where tendon & muscle attach.) There is no tear. (Yay!) There is mild tendonosis of the infraspinatus. The teres minor and subscapularis tendons are intact.

The biceps tendon is normally located within the bicipital groove. The biceps labral anchor is intact. There is no paralabral pathology on this non-arthrographic study. (So good news - no tears, no compromise of the biceps connections.)

Impression:
1. There appears to be abnormal widening of the AC joint with a large amount of fluid and edema in the AC joint space. This could be confirmed with weight-bearing plain radiographs for AC joint injury. (Basically testing ROM & strength holding out the arm and lifting various weights - at what point does it become weak. I don't expect to actually do this - it is expected that weakness can be easily demonstrated.)

2. Mild tendonosis of the supraspinatus tendon with intramuscular strain at its myotendinous junction. (Commented on this above.)

3. Mild tendonosis of the infraspinatus tendon. A small amount of fluid within the subacrimonial / subdeltoid bursa.

Those that followed my recomp thread know I have rarely used much and have a very different training style. But I have come to the point that I want to see what it's like on a real blast cycle, plus I need to use this stuff up. I've had it for a long time. Not quite sure when I will run it as work is hectic lately but here's what I'm thinking. I noticed during the recomp that I'm not as responsive as I used to be, getting old sucks ass.

WEEK 1: Days 1-5 400MG of Cypionate
WEEK 2/3: Days 1-5 250MG of Sustanon and 300MG of Deca per day
WEEK 4: Days 1 through the end of week 8 100MG of Test Suspension daily.
FROM WEEK 1-8: Superdrol 10mg daily and .625 Letro weekly.

I started with Cyp because I tend to get serum sickness and the Prop from Sustanon will continue the upramp of high androgen load. I kept the Superdrol low so I can use it over the course of the entire protocol and help with carb usage, I am able to eat way more carbs on it and stay dry and pumped. This is partially an attempt to regain some of my former strength levels as I have achieved about 85% of them. I will continue to do the similar WO but won't focus on reps below 3-5 at lowest. The math averages to a bit over 1500mgs weekly, somewhere I have never gone.

*Updated* Ultimate 8 Week Cycle

Since I posted up the original Ultimate 8 week stack, BSL has released a new product known as 1-Alpha. At the same time, Cyanostane has been removed from our product catalog due to production costs. No worries, as 1-Alpha is stronger than Cyanostane, allowing this updated 8 week stack to provide even better gains than the first 8 week stack. See below for cycle updates.

Methyls
Weeks 1-4: 1-Alpha @ 3 caps/day.
Weeks 5-8: Methadrol @ 2 caps/day.
Weeks 1-8: Trenabol @ 4 caps/day.

Non-methyls
Weeks 1-8: Advanced Cycle Support @ recommended dosage (HIGHLY recommended with this stack).
Weeks 1-8 (optional): 4-Andro @ 4 caps/day.

1-Alpha: The newest steroid to be released by BSL, this powerhouse drug is very close to the now discontinued M1T. A mass-builder through and through, 1-Alpha will blow you up with raw size after just 4 weeks of use, providing results similar to what was experienced with M1T from both a visual and size-buidling standpoint. In addition, a portion of this drug will convert directly to M1T (the strongest oral ever produced under any circumstances) in the same way that testosterone converts to DHT. This is just icing on the cake, as 1-alpha is an extremely potent steroid in its own right, possessing anabolic rating of 420 (in comparison, Dianbol's anabolic rating is 210...only half of 1-Alpha's). Users should expect significant strength gains in accordance with alleviation of joint pain, as the steroid's water retaining effects work well for this purpose. Still, 1-Alpha does not aromatize, negating the need for an anti-estrogen while on-cycle.

Methadrol: Another powerhouse product, Methadrol is the strongest of all BSL-IML products...or anywhere! Just one of the steroids contained in this product (Dimethazine) has been clinically proven to be more myotropic (muscle-building) than Anadrol itself. This clinical trial did not involves primate or rats, but real human subjects under the strictest of conditions! For a steroid to even approach Anadrol in muscle building potency would be quite an accomplishment, but to surpass it is amazing? As most know, Anadrol has been looked at as the 'gold standard' for muscle growth when it comes to oral AAS, but no longer, as both science and 1,000's of real-world users have proven otherwise. As if that weren't good enough, Methadrol contains a 2nd steroid known as Methylstenbolone. This monster anabolic possesses an anabolic rating of over 600, which is greater than every tradtional oral steroid ever produced. As a finishing touch, we’ve tossed in a bit of Decadrol (Max LMG), making Methadrol the most potent mass & strength builder anywhere. If you are looking for full-blown gains that surpass even the strongest traditional steroids on a mg per mg basis, this 3-way stack is it. As if that weren’t enough, Methadrol also contains additional ingredients designed to increase the absorption and maximize the efficiency of the aforementioned AAS, optimizing their effects in the body. The gains from Methadrol are a bit drier than what you will experience with a pure mass-builder like 1-Aplha, so it is placed in the last 4 weeks of the cycle, allowing you to attain a higher quality look by cycle’s end.

Trenabol: The most potent non-methylated steroid on themarket today, Trenabol converts directly into trenbolone at a high rate, making it equivalent to injecting moderate doses of real Trenbolone. Being one of the most powerful injectable steroids ever created, the muscle-building effects of Trenbolone are well-noted in both literature and the real-world. One of the first industries to take advantage of the benefits of trenbolone was the cattle industry, which even today routinely administers trenbolone directly to cattle in order to increase lean meat yeild via improved food efficiency. Trenbolone provides the same effect in BB'rs, making it a great nutrient repartitioning agent. This makes trenbolone one of, if not the most effectve fat loss steroid in the world today. When the above effects are combined, Trenabol becomes an exceptional re-comping agent, capable of transforming the body’s appearance in record time. With an androgenic rating of 500, strength is enhanced through a combination of improved neural firing and enhanced aggression, contributing to force development independent of the drug’s growth promoting effects. This makes it an excellent companion to the methylated steroids in this cycle, which derive a considerable portion of their strength-boosting effects through muscle hypertrophy. The resultant synergy is capable of providing gains comparable to even high dose traditional steroid stacks.

4-Andro: Although AAS are great for building a massive and powerful physique, one of the downsides of many steroids is their suppressive effect on libido, which they bring about through their suppressive effect on the HPTA. 4-Andro helps combat this negative effect by supplying the missing component…testosterone. A prohormone to this essential messenger, 4-Andro can help maintain/restore this vital aspect of male function. In addition, many claim to find relief from the lethargy sometimes experienced when using stronger methyls. While 4-andro is not a critical muscle-building component of this cycle, it is useful for those who don't want their testosterone tank running on zero. Of course, the relatively small increase in testosterone (equivalent to TRT), will mildly impact this stack's muscle building effects.

Advanced Cycle Support: ACS contains a variety of ingredients designed to maintain optimal liver, lipid, and cardiovascular health, making it one of the most comprehensive cycle support products on the market today. It is no secret that many AAS are capable of adversely affecting these areas of our health, thereby providing a real need for this type of product. By adding ACS to your regimen, it is similar to purchasing an insurance policy; you may not need it, but it helps to have it handy just in case. This is especially true for regular steroid users. I am usually pretty lenient when it comes to support supps (in other words, I don't force them down people's throats), but with this updated 8 week cycle, I HIGHLY recommend it...simply because this is one helluva potent stack which

*** Cycle designed using only BSL & IML products.

Final Notes: For those who are not abe to afforf to purchase the entire stack, but still want to take make the best gains they can, there are two products in this stack that are responisble for 90% of the growth you will experience. These are Methadrol & 1-Alpha. You could bypass both the Trenabol and the 4-Andro and still make awesome gains. However, I still highly recommend the cycle suppport becaue it is our health we're talking about here. Could you run this stack once and not have any long-term issues? Sure (assuming there are no pre-exitsing conditions present). But...if you're like most, this will be the first of many steroid cycles over your lifetime and after a while it can take a toll. Because this cycle is a bit more stressfull than the normal 4 week, single methyl cycle, you should make purchasing this product a priorty.

Products Needed

1-Alpha: 1.5 bottles
Methadrol: 1 bottle
Trenabol: 4bottles
4-Andro: 2 bottles
Advanced Cycle Support: 2 bottles

I have been mulling over this a lot lately. "Have I ever contributed to the purchase of IED components which killed or harmed one of my brothers?" I mean fuck all the good amps come from Pakistan or Afghanistan. Now Pakistani ISI is pretty good to go. But would someone who lives in communist Asia care if their source was Al Qadea?
Manufacturer: Aburaihan, Iran
Manufacturer: Geofman Pakistan
Manufacturer: Schering Pakistan
Manufacturer: Organon Pakistane
I got that from a a top rated site. I quit buying them a month ago but they are the best although PG is impressing me so far. What can we do as buyers and what are the sites that post on here doing to make sure we keep illegal fucking money in organized crime but never anywhere downstream used against American troops. Yes it matters and if you don't care fuck off, AND AND AND IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY to make the effort.

http://www.metalinjection.net/tim-la...2-million.html

Tim Lambesis isn't going anywhere. At the conclusion of the As I Lay Dying frontman's bail hearing earlier today, the judge lowered his bail to $2 million, which Lambesis' attorney claims is still too expensive for Lambesis.

Lambesis had plead not guilty to one count of solicitation of murder after attempting to hire a hitman to murder his wife.

UT San Diego filed a report from inside the courtroom reporting that the defense requested the bail be lowered to $250,000 but Judge David Berry would only agree to lower it to $2 million.

During his appeal, Warwick also claimed that Lambesis began using steroids, which clouded his judgement:

Thomas Warwick, the musician’s lawyer, said his client had gotten into body building and eating healthy, and later began taking nutritional supplements as a paid product spokesman. At some point, he also began taking steroids, he said.

“His thought processes were devastatingly affected by his steroid use,” Warwick said.

Another shocking revelation came from the prosecution who revealed the cost of alleged hit on Lambesis' wife was priced at $20,000 and that Lambesis was "very willing to pay that."

More news as we get it.

*High-Testosterone Competitors More Likely to Choose Red*

May 16, 2013 — Why do so many sports players and athletes choose to wear the color...

High-Testosterone Competitors More Likely to Choose Red

May 16, 2013 — Why do so many sports players and athletes choose to wear the color red when they compete? A new study to be published in

Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science, suggests that it may have to do with their testosterone levels.

The new study, conducted by psychological scientist Daniel Farrelly of the University of Sunderland and colleagues, demonstrated that males who chose red as their color in a competitive task had higher testosterone levels than other males who chose blue.

"The research shows that there is something special about the color red in competition, and that it is associated with our underlying biological systems," says Farrelly.

The researchers believe that the link may explain why many sports stars wear red clothing -- Tiger Woods, for example, famously chooses to wear a red shirt on the last day of a major competition.

Choosing to wear red "may, unconsciously, signal something about their competitive nature, and it may well be something that affects how their opponents respond," Farrelly explains.

Farrelly and colleagues recruited 73 men to participate in the study, and they were unaware of the study's aims. The men were told that they would be performing a competitive task and that their performances would be placed on a leaderboard. The participants then chose either a red or blue symbol to represent them in the table and completed the competitive tasks. They also answered questionnaires aimed at gauging whether various personal reasons may have affected their color choice.

To determine participants' testosterone levels, the researchers took saliva samples at the start of the study, before the participants knew about the competitive task, and again at the end.

The data revealed that men who chose red had higher baseline testosterone levels, and they rated their color as having higher levels of characteristics such as dominance and aggression, than men who chose blue.

Color choice did not, however, seem to be related to actual performance in the competitive task. The researchers believe that direct competition, in which opponents can be seen wearing red or appearing red, may be necessary for the red advantage to occur. Along these lines, previous research has shown that wearing red can be advantageous through its influence on opponents' perceptions, leading them to view red competitors as being "high quality" competitors.
