the powerlifts certainly do help with mass.
i was lucky to get some advice form ed coan when i was in high school...

yeah i lived in arizona and all my friends were from texas. i liearned to 2 step and wear a cowboy hat.

and have been since i moved back to Canada from Texas in 1993
but my hearts still in the country !!!!

instead to feeding my horse !!!!!!!!!

Doug was really mad when i quit at the end of 1991
after just year of competitive lifting
but he wasn't happy with me just being the best in my weight class
he kept pushing me up wt classes
he wanted me to be the strongest in the world in any class
at 5 foot 2 and 1/2
i was weighing 168 lbs in the 181 lb class
i was really unhappy with the way i was looking
one day i woke up and i just couldn't recognize myself anymore
i hated what i saw in the mirror
i'm like thatz it !!
i'm bodybuilding now
the main reason i powerlifted was to put on as much mass as i could in the shortest amount of time for bodybuilding anyway
if i coulda stayed in the 148 lb class or even the 165's i'd have been happier, but he pushed me up to 181's
i did become the US National champ my 2nd meet
beating the reigning world champ by 92 lbs
along with pulling an unofficial world record dead of 501 lbs
my 3rd meet...

yeah the comparison and the fact a city boy like me knows what ropers are

whatz funny ???
the fact that your bare arms doing yardwork is pretty tame
compared to me wearing nothing but the ropers to feed my horse !

you mentioned red ropers in a post. thought it was funny.

you have powerlifting numbers posted which are very impressive.
