I have been telling people at the dojo about you, and hoping that I get to roll with you at some point next year. When I lay out your stats and accomplishments, they just wince at me, and tell me something along the lines of "Good luck with that". But... I am going to be ready for you

My ground game is actually not that amazing. I am great at Greco-Roman wrestling, but I'm mediocre at jiu jitsu. I have never liked jiu jitsu that much. I much prefer throwing my opponent and then beating them with my fists.

I have done Shotokan Karate and Kenjutsu since I was 4 years old. When I was 12 I started jiujitsu and Muay Thai. When I was 15 I trained in MMA exclusively. I have had three fights in a cage. I haven't trained for some time though.... almost two years. I miss it. I also don't talk about it much because people never ask. GX and NL have always known though.

Huh. I didn't get your emails...at least I didn't see them. I wonder if they ended up getting trapped as spam. Sorry for not replying. Sorry also about your shoulder but it sounds like you're on the mend so that's good. Yeah my departure was a touch knee-jerk but ultimately the weeks I was away did me good and allowed me to focus on what I needed to focus on and reprioritize some things. I think I'm better for it and can appreciate this place a bit more as a result.
