I notice the 20 something year olds of today seem pathetic and ________? Do you agree?
Maybe the ones in your neck of the woods, but not the ones I’ve encountered. The ones I know are all badasses. I’m referring to both lifters and nonlifters and a broad range of educational and socioeconomic classes.
But maybe that’s because I surround myself with quality people to begin with. :dunno:
In case you didn’t know, PfA, my daughter is in that group of 20 somethings, as is her boyfriend of the last 5 years. They spent Thanksgiving with us and I had a delightful time having intelligent, articulate, thought-provoking conversations with them and the other 20-somethings I interacted with over the holiday weekend.
I actually find the 20-something “men” I’ve encountered to be far more mature, mentally strong, and open minded than the 20-somethings of the 1990s.

Open minded for sure but morbidly uneducated in the politics area. Kids today are just interested in different things so they’re interesting but in my opinion much softer and have a lot of sand in their vaginas.

No lol! Kids today have been born Into an age where anything that they don’t agree with is considered wrong and mean. It has nothing to do with his arrogance. Kids are smarter for sure but A LOT softer

I won’t ban him but I will take exception to some of the terminology that he chooses to use.
Please excuse the edits. Welcome to RX!

Oh well I wasn’t saying That because I’m offended. I love that word [emoji13] I’m glad there’s some freedom of speech SOMEWHERE. [emoji1317]

No, I didn’t edit or delete the word because I thought you were offended.
It’s just unnecessary and doesn’t represent Rx Muscle (or my vision of Rx?) appropriately.
I have known members who believed it was best to just let things go totally unmoderated. Let the members decide what’s acceptable and what’s not. And I’m sure there’s a lot of merit in that train of thought or viewpoint.
I'm now old enough to have seen that old nut of the older generation thinking badly of a younger one. And so on...
Please guys & gal. It's intended for most not all MOST of them. I'm in my mid upper 30s & I remember 10 yrs ago (damn I sound like grampa) when respect was always there.
I go to the gym start deadlifting work up to 5 plates & last set as the weights are all racked I decided to get a drink from the fountain. Returning back this 20 something and his friend "bro rack your weights" so I smirked & said let me be nice. "Actually I went to get a drink but heading back to finish my final set"
This cum sucking twerp gos " well maybe you should rack your weights instead of leaving it" in other words f my set. Billy bad ass is setting up his own gym policy. Anyway, I go point blank "don't tell me shit fag" & he gos "oh tough guy". I'm like "Ace don't do it, so I kept going. But he's grilling me w his boy the whole time & I'm like mannnnn "ughhh
Cool story bro
That happens when you get older. Genaration gaps. Lifestlye, clothing ,hobbies, music all become different and sometimes its hard to understand.

As one of the oldest members on this site (I believe I’m third oldest) I’ll try to remember that if things about the younger generation become hard to understand LOL.
Oh I guess someone got there feathers ruffled
