Are you training for a powerlifting competition, Sunnyday?
Are you training for a powerlifting competition, Sunnyday?
Hahahahaha!!! :lmao:
Sigh. Sad to say I believe my powerlifting days are over, just as I was getting warmed up
ur powerliftin' days may be over Sunny, yet u'll always be hittin' the weights:)

Thanks for the encouraging words, COG. However it’s hard for someone like me who has lived and breathed a lifetime of competition to grasp never competing again.
i'm sure u'll be fine, and hey u can was do figure again it u want.

Fine...yeah, I’ll survive physically. But I’m already getting extremely depressed. :-( My mental health is taking a beating.
Sad to say figure isn’t possible - I can’t even walk a straight line in bare feet. Competition heels are out of the question. Training legs when weighted squats of any kind and leg presses are off limits - as creative as I am I haven’t come up with a work around that doesn’t cause a lot of pain in all the wrong places if done intensely enough to facilitate growth. :dunno:

Sorry to hear you're depressed about your training. I can relate to it all too well and know that I must keep doing it or I will end up in a worse state of mind and physical being.
Hang in there Sunny, the ride doesn't get any less bumpy while growing older.
Sunnyday, I had to retire early due to circumstances at my place of employment & it was hard on me. But I am moving forward, & have a bunch of new projects to keep my mind & time occupied, & am starting to get excited about life again. You have a great many things to contribute to the world, & when one thing goes down another one pops up. Stay hungry. & that goes for you too, Mac.
