bro i dont get why shawn rhoden is not allowed back in?...wasnt this thing with the alleged rape dragged on for like 3 years?....i dunno what happened i wasnt there in the room but you know innocent until proven guilty...they should at least have him do the arnold
It's over
I agree 100%. I just think that they (Olympia promoters, president etc.) Don't want to rub people the wrong way by smearing his accusations and its effects onto the fans, in fear of financial loss, & reputation towards the organization
bro i dont get why shawn rhoden is not allowed back in?...wasnt this thing with the alleged rape dragged on for like 3 years?....i dunno what happened i wasnt there in the room but you know innocent until proven guilty...they should at least have him do the arnold
bro...I think shawn rhoden was cheated...he should be able to compete...innocent until proven guilty....let the man compete for his title back
The short answer is the case hasn't been decided yet.
poor soul
My thing is this, if he didn't go to jail, isn't that enough to say he didn't commit the crime?? I mean c'mon give him a 2nd chance, because he didn't commit the crime in the first place. This is what, going on to 2 yrs already[? Dudes got Bill's to payQUOTE=GearHead-evo;2200740]bro...I think shawn rhoden was cheated...he should be able to compete...innocent until proven guilty....let the man compete for his title back
It's not. It can and often does take this long to go to trial + covid BS
1. IF convicted the headline will read: Mr. Olympia Guilty of Rape. Soooo does it sound any worse if it read 2x or 3x had he been allowed to compete and win???? NO ONE is going to make the point that his win was pre-charge vs post. That would be nuanced journalism and that shit don't exist these days.
2. IF the government really believed he was guilty of this crime and had the evidence how can they in good conscience allow him to roam the streets for over three years???? A real sexual predator would be back hunting in that time frame. So why the hell have they not dismissed the case?
3. Are we to believe that at the age of 43(or whatever he was at the time of the alleged crime) he just became a rapist??? Because if this was not the first time in his life I have to think prior victims would be coming forward as they ALWAYS do in such cases. The fact that NOT A ONE has says volumes IMO.
4. NO ONE is going to stop following the IFBB if he was allowed to compete. Employing criminals has not deterred fans of all the big three major league sports........not in the least, let alone alleged criminals.
What they continue to do to him IMO has more of a chance of hurting the rep than allowing him to compete every would have IMO.
it was great while it lasted
If this story isn't true, it makes me wonder if Shawn can file a lawsuit on the "alleged victim" & iffbb for false accusations
1.
