You can make more money on NPC memberships & contest fees for MPD than bodybuilding. More men are able & willing to model than to do a bodybuilding routine on a stage.

So why get behind "cuteness"?
Cute Magazine?
Hunk Monthly?
Uh, yeah, I guess they forgot everyone isn't gay.[/QUOTE]
Tons of bodybuilders on gay websites and doing G4P so not really sure of the distinction. Gay guys before being able to get married to each other tended to have more disposable income for entertainment than the straight guys whose wife often controls the purse strings. Thus, gay entertainment is not only diverse covering all sorts of male looks, but pays those who participate better than the average hetero content for males or females.

The main distinction is not having sexualized pictures of guys thrown in to accent the "cuteness" In muscle mags.
I agree to some extent. However, the "marketability factor" of some guys based on good looking faces has benefited them I'd say including Phil Heath, Jay Cutler, Juan Morel, Jon Delarosa, Marco Rivera, Dexter, Ben Pakulski, Shawn Rhoden, Flex Lewis, Shawn Ray, Bob Chic, etc. Surely if muscle is the only issue then the guy can be butt ugly from the neck up and should deserve a place on the cover of the muscle mag the same as a female bodybuilder should, but it doesn't actually work out quite that way. Or would we say that being a top bodybuilder and top bodybuilding commentator is synonymous with good looks? :)

The fans paying for G4P webcams are not looking at the faces of the models.

Actually I'd bet many are looking at their faces. Men tend to be very visual with their likes and dislikes. That's regardless of sexual preference.
Granted, but some of the webcam guys don't even show their faces.
Personally, I prefer the bodybuilding look over the men's physique. But that doesn't mean I'm right. Everybody has different goals. The top guys and girls ineach division train equally hard, just in different ways.
From what I understand, a lot of the MPD guys hate the board shorts, but that is the look required & they comply. Others are probably glad they don't have to worry about their legs.
Have you seen the video we did !?
