Mr. Joel how are things going there my old friend?
Ha! Exactly! My knees are feeling a little tender from the lunges I was doing. Lunges tend to cause this I think because I tend to push back instead of pressing up coming out of the bottom. Never have any problems with squats or leg press.
Lunges SUCK! I have been trying to do them everyday for the last week and will continue thru to show They put alot stress on my knees too, but for separation, may be the best thing you can do?

Doing well my friend! Just finished competing a month ago in my first nattie pro show.

I lunge up on a step that helps alot and it doesn't hurt when I do them just get sore right up on the upper ridge of my kneecap after a couple of weeks. Usually before I give up on an exercise I look at my execution to see if there is something I'm doing to cause a problem. Which is usually the case! lol

Slowly bringing up my strength! Just being patient with it, adding small increments each week. Tricepts strength is coming along nicely, also doing rotator cuff exercises after each chest and shoulder workout.
Benches look like they`re beginning to climb.
Great training Joel.

Thanks, I use a fairly narrow overhand grip just over shoulder width. I've always just made my best progress doing heavy basic workouts.
