LOVE the heat. That's what happens after being here for 32 years!

WATER.......my weight can fluctuate 2-4 lbs a day.

I always sit and write down the workout as soon as I get home. Used to have a journal in the gym but it became a bother, especially when I am really moving, 30 sec between sets, etc,.

My doc told me to be glad I feel my back.....says at least it means I am still alive!

I think at our age your back just likes to talk to you! Mine does every morning!

I have actually reduced my volume by about 30% for this prep......better recovery and hope to stay a little fuller.

Steve...sometimes I look at total weight lifted over the entire workout as opposed to going heavy for fewer sets!

Mac......about 3 years ago I experienced the sciatica? thing as well, and found out that resting only made things worse......finally decided to get in the gym...."F" the pain and just work right...

Steve....I love training at Powerhouse down here....by far, the best gym I have been in for both equipment AND atmosphere....don't know anything about yours but I think you should check it...

treadmill doesn't bother me, but HEAVY deads are out of the program!!.......Can still go pretty heavy on squats with no problem, but deads wreck my lower back if I am not EXTREMELY careful....only do...

...........and I have been called much worse!! LOL!!! :)
