i used to get tendonitis really bad. some rest, ice, and tylenol helped.
but what "cured" me was forearm and grip training.

X2 I came back to mention that. If you warm up your forearms really really well to the point where they are pretty pumped it indirectly warms your elbows up. When I had serious elbow pain I would warm my elbows up till they were fully pumped and it will almost completely diminish the pain.

Your first line of defense and repair should definitely be hydration and plenty of EFAs. You post a lot about alcohol and alcohol can be very dehydrating. Dry joints are not good.
Also, I cannot believe no one has mentioned Cissus. I am an Olympic/power lifter and glucosamine is good if used properly but my training partners and I swear by Cissus.

You should get some sleeves and try them out but do not become dependent on them because it will limit your joint strength growth. You need to get on glucosamine sulfate daily, take cissus when you feel extremely uncomfortable, drink at least a gallon of WATER a day, add a 1 or 2 tbsp of macadamian/evo oil to your daily diet ,warm your triceps up more before benching, stretch your triceps after working them heavily, ice them immediately after your workouts and look into getting regular massages for them. Of course, a nice a week or two off would also help!

That in bold MSM is the main ingredient in Skeletal Bam, besides krill oil that is the only supp I take for anti-inflammaiton/joint problems. I would not recommend it if it did not work. That stuff does wonders for paint relief within minutes after rubbing it. I use it a lot for my sciatica, even though you get instant results, you should continue using it daily.

skeletal balm is the real deal. i myself use it along with my wife, mother, and grandmother. my grandmother is the only one who doesnt have great results with it but it does help her some which is amazing because her knees are shot and the script meds and shots bairly work for her.

Lot of things mentioned in here already. Plenty of water, oils/EFAs, Gluc/Chond/MSM, Cissus, needto's skeletal balm (that stuff works fuggin great!), wraps or sleeves, and plenty of good warmup. I like to rotate my joints before I get started lifting (I'm old). But I rotate elbows about 20 times in each direction. Same with shoulders (I actually do more with shoulders - smaller and bigger circles). Static stretches after workouts, regular deep tissue massage, ART, TENS therapy, ICE on and off (prn).
That about sums it up (did I forget anything?)

Yep. Ive been battling severe carpal tunnel symptoms for weeks that were either directly caused by or related to a B6 deficiency. (mostly healed now but not 100%) It was to the point I couldnt grip my steering wheel, or type. Lots of things I couldnt do in the gym also.
It started out as a feeling of tendonitis in my hands, wrists, then forearms.. pain/numbness was jumping around in so many strange ways in both hands/arms that I felt it was clearly not just an injury, but a nerve issue. The nerves in my hands, wrists & forearms felt like they were on ice. There was smething in my elbows that felt like tendonitis. As I was at home one night about to lose my mind, I stumbled upon an article about carpal tunnel syptoms linked to the B deficiency..took some B6 and the nerves calmed down immediatly & has been steadily improving ever since. I never made it yet to see the orthopedist.. probably wont need to. I think its funny that a Dr. either doesnt know this is a possibility or just wont tell you. The only thing that was mentioned to me was pain meds & surgery.
Moral of the story- dont underestimate nutrient deficiencies.

I've got the APT convict elbow sleeves and I really like them. Everything I've ever gotten from them I've been pleased with though. I'd had the same problem as you, where my elbow pain was getting so bad that just gripping a bar or dumbbell made me wanna scream. Using elbow sleeves definitely made a big difference.
