This is the first post for the NEW Rx Muscle Trivia Contest.

It will be a daily question regarding the bodybuilding and fitness industry and the first correct poster will receive 1 (one) trivia point. Points will be redeemable for Species Product and Merchandise and RX Muscle Merchandise as noted below.

Please reference the trivia question number when responding! Also feel free to comment on the event or the person noted in the answer to keep the thread going during the day.

Also, please feel free to submit your own trivia questions on my pm or to my email joelgold1956@yahoo.com For any question used the submitting party will receive one trivia point.

Question #1: Which male IFBB athlete scheduled to compete was arrested at the airport and for what reason?

bonus question.....name any of the guest posers for this contest

Question #2: Which female IFBB athlete was placed first, and then disqualified and for what exact reason?

1989, tonya knight was the original winner, later disqualified due to a failed drug test. Jackie Paisley was named the new winner.

Knight won the Ms. International title in 1989. However, it was later discovered that she had used a stand-in when she was chosen for a random drug test at the 1988 Ms. Olympia contest. As a result, she was disqualified from both of these contests, forfeiting her prize money as well as the Ms. International title. She was also suspended from the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IFBB"]IFBB[/ame] for two years (Merritt, 2006).

Hide was arrested in 2007 as stated above...We are looking for the first Arnold.. in 1989...

QUESTION TWO HAS BEEN ANSWERED........good job Jodie...she did not fail the drug test yet she did use a "poseur" to take the test....

Jeff Everson (Cory's then husband) contacted the IFBB and an investigation was launched to determine whether the drugtest appointment of bodybuilding's golden girl had been fulfilled by Quinn's Goldin girl. Knight, after some stalling, admitted to the stall deception. For her indiscretion, the whiz-girl was suspended from competition until December 31, 1990, with the added proviso that she pay back the combined $12,000 she had earned at the 1988 Ms. Olympia and 1989 Ms. International contests.
Knight returned to competition at the 1991 Ms. International and her victory there was deliverance, and the highpoint of the Oregon native's career. Two years later she bowed out of competition with a third place at the Jan Tana Classic and relocated to Kansas to marry one of the heirs of the DuPont chemical empire. John Poteat. Despite his background, the chemistry didn't work this time; they divorced and Knight never returned to the bodybuilding scene. She remarried, but again it went the way of a bodybuilding routine: splitsville. Hey, Tonya, you were always a joy to work with--give us a shout. With your 43rd birthday looming on March 24, we'd love to know what you're up to these days, so (final pun), give us a tinkle.

The only bodybuilder other than Hide that i know of thats been arrested in the airport was Mike Matarrazo for being too loud or something, but that was in the 90's,

i will make special questions for you but i am not sure you will want what the points will buy.........but seriously i am challenged to find questions that are not easily googleable or muscle memory simple...we need this to be challenging....help me by reading the first post and submitting some of your own
