Update on Evan Centopani working with Chris Aceto

Hey man. Sorry for the late reply. I'm in Australia and just saw this pm. I've been thinking about the upcoming year and my strategy and have been trying to decide what the best approach might be. Most people know my feelings on gurus. That being said, there are coaches and there are gurus. Chris Aceto is someone who I have always had a high regard for (i bought his books as a teenager) and Jose has had nothing but great things to say about him. Truth be told, I've been thinking about possibly contacting him and seeing if he'd be willing to work with me and if so, what his approach would be/his overall philosophy. Once I get back home I'll see what's what and make a decision. Thanks for the pm buddy.

Evan is a Classy guy and Chris is also way up there in my book. It would be cool to see these too working together and do some damage! Chris said he might have some news for us a while back. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

No disrespect intended, but I'm curious as to why Evan would want to discuss his prep with you? and in the event that he was actually interested in doing so...would he be excited that you posted that conversation here?

Evan is great but if you can get Kai to work with Aceto you will deliver Aceto the first Mr. olympia he ever worked with and Kai the Olympia title he needs.

Aceto is a contest prep guru....not a babysitter.

Umm Aceto got Culter to a couple Mr O's! He has a few O's and a hand full of ACS titles under his athletes belts.

No disrespect taken, but it was something I am sure he had already thought about. Nothing makes me special so that settles that. It was a straight forward thought on my behalf and Evan answered it. It goes to show you the type of guy he is and offers excellent insight. He does not mind opening up a little. I also sat on that reply 3 or 4 days before posting it. I also sent that convo to Mr. Aceto himself about 3 days ago. It was not all too personal, but it was strictly job related. He is a pro bodybuilder. I do respect Evan and the person he is. If he is offended then I sincerely apologize.>>

it shows that Evan is very appreciative of his fans, for him to take the time to message u back, and for him not to say "None of your business creep!"
I'm sure there are many pros who would of responded like that!

Evan needs someone to tell him when to put on the brakes during his prep, he works so hard he seems to just over diet and peak 2 weeks before showtime. I think Aceto is a perfect fit for evan.
