wish had video getting some heavy lifts in raw squat
315 x 3 335 x 2 345 x 2 deads 315 x 3 365 x 2 405 x 1 same workout
prior Monday bench in single ply bench 405 x 2 1 bd 425 x 1 1 bd 435 x 1 1 bd 445 x 1 1 bd
next lift bench workout 225 x 5 250 x 3 275 x 3( a little tough feel shirt work affecting raw when=>80% max.

had powerlifting meet
weihged in 176.5 am pre meet and ate a very little 1-2 hrs snack prior to weigh in
took token crappy squat usapl strict on depth only 100kg to get in meet did wt I think 265 can 10 reps but called on depth
bench in shirt single ply opener 396 and 413 missed 424 but came up fast even faster than prior to shirts cna really be hit or miss at times.
deadlifted 407 did that raw but since in bench shirt had to go equipped.
trying to get a total so can qualify for masters nats in powerlifting next year.

Hey you did it though. Nice job. Yes meets can be strict especially because judges u believe make it too strict. I have been in several Feds. Judges need to pay attention and watch. The squat isn't about who squats deepest but some judges are just not for the lifter. I'm sorry you have a bad experience.

1st want to say thank-you for reading from a great lifter Shawn.
When writing how things can be interpreted. I did not write I believe have not trained to squat in powerlifting for long long time, and was really trying to get my bench back in an napf/ipf masters meet and I am close not sure need a few more and have not trained deads steady again that long, 1st time dead >400 in 12 years close a few times but not always a grinder came clseo to needing back surgery after pulling 465 @165 and missing 490' someting in 2002.
REally was happy with bench hit 445 off 1 board 2 x in gym.
Gave 424 a nice push but lost groove in a bench shirt Ended up w/413 in bench @ 176 so ok not thriled but room for more 424 did not crush me but could get it.
overall happy 2nd time benched over 400 in single ply at 175-176 wt.
Overall I was happy with meet except squat but again was just trying to get a squat in for total w/bench and to pull as well.

just turned 50 upper dody work

floor press w/fat bar weights 40 lbs
130 x 8 speed reps paused on bottom
180 x 5
220 x 5
250 x3
270 x3
290 x2 paused to long on bottom so relaxed at bottom on rep 2 so nothing left for rep 3
220 x 10 speed reps
incline db press neutral grip
50 x 8 not feeling right
40 x 10
40 x 20 reps best set
supersetted above w/db shrug combo row in inline bench 10 reps
w/40 lb db
tricep pressdowns med band 25 reps 2 supersets
with lat squeeze and wings out rear delt work with 2 1/2 lb plate in each hand to front side and rear 12 reps each so 36 reps per set.

floor press yesterday
used fat bar 40 lb bar but hard to grip tight
paused too long at bottom and lost tightness at bottom only affected on heavy set 290
180 x 5

all reps fast except 270 and 290 set
incline db neutral grip 40-50 bls 10-20 reps
supersetted w/db back row combo
tricep pressdowns supersetted w/lat shrug and wing laterals on incline allr ealy tough and light wtnew pic post floor press tricep work.jpg

Bench in shirt still
Invited to pro bench meet in shirt roster up soon. Had bad lifting night last night. Too many consecutive heavy bench days especially in shirt. Really sore today as shirt was not on correct most sets could help get stronger as did not lift as much but my chest and triceps and back had to push more chest real sore.

new pic correct from upside down
pic upside down tried from ipad messed it up up
did back 2 sets pullups
then pulldowns 1 set supersettted w.pullups 1 set
then
2 more sets pulldowns
then 4 sets cable rows all 8 reps per set <60- sec rest
was in a rush had to do homework with my son and practice baseball.

Difference 3-4 days ago was outside in hot weather long time and hi sodium diet and liquids and some low fat mayo
