please help me with hrt!!
Hi
I live in Louisville KY and I have had problems with back pain and fatigue since the age of 32
I had a pelvic fracture at 18 so my family Dr prescribed loritabs for pain but I took them for energy more than anything. Then fatigue became overwhelming so I saw Dr Mary self who removed my thyroid due to autoimmune disease which helped nothing. I still complained of severe fatigue and she tested my t levels at 355 and told me nothing was wrong with me spank me on the ass and sent me on my way. Now I'm 40 and can't live with this fatigue anymore. My family doc tested my t levels at 298 and told I was low and what the limits are and I can't believe Dr self thought my levels were OK at 355 OMG!!! I have been suffering all this time do to Dr Mary self in Louisville KY.
My family Dr put me on androl gel then 100mg of Cypionate twice a month. He only tested total t levels and I felt like a new man for about three weeks and i stopped taking loritabs cold turkey after being dependent on them for energy for 8 yrs. then boom now I have fatigue not as bad as it was but I have major ed problems and I have never had that symptom before. My t levels are up to 550 after taking cypionate. He Increased cypionate to 200 mg but I'm on fourth week and still ed and some fatigue, trouble sleeping. I'm thinking I might have high estrogen? ?

Opiates (Lortabs) and Energy
My second specialty is Addiction Medicine. I have been treating addiction for about 30 years. Most likely the reason you are fatigued is that you are going through a mild opiate withdrawal. It's not that you're nauseated, have diarrhea or have chills and sweats, it's just that your body is used to the opiates providing you energy.
In my experience it takes about 3 months (90 days) after stopping the opiates for your energy to approach normal. You get about 1% better a day. A clean diet, aerobic and resistance training and some meditation too can help you get through this period in the easiest way.
I hope this helps you.
