So why list the schools you went to and lie about their quality?

I never attended high school, I was institutionalized from 13 years old to 17 years old. My life is nothing short of a miracle..

this statement coming from a guy who just, out of nowhere decided to make a post claiming how smart you are and patting yourself on the back? for what reason, exactly? and i cant believe people still hold IQ tests to any kind of merit whatsoever... i think i already know which direction this thread is heading....

and slightly O/T, but community college> a big name university anyday in terms of actual education, i transfered from one to UCLA and the teachers are UCLA are fucking horrid and you have to teach everything to yourself, yet pay 10x+ the amount... biggest fucking joke ever

True, bodybuilders don't have to think too hard about their calories and macros at every meal (I usually analyze 5 days worth of food logs to understand patterns and such) but the last part of what you said is very misleading as each macronutrient has very different configurations and each configurations (e.g. glutamine versus leucine) can drive/stimulate different reactions (rxns).
Basic biochemistry- A Calorie is a static unit of measurement, like a kilometer, however all kilometres are not the same for someone travelling in thecar, there could be hills bumps whatever, same applies for a Calorie, its the dynamic enviroment where you apply the measurement. There are other measurments of heat energy, Calorie is to mile as kilojoule is to kilometer. What is known as a food Calorie is the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of 1000g(1kg) of water 1 degree Celcius. Almost any object can be mesured in Calories, In fact gasoline has a Caloric measure of about 32000 per gallon. As to the last part, I am referring to full profiles of amino acids broken down from animal proteins. As in cells taking what they need to synthesize new tissue.
Yes individual amino acids such as Leucine have different reactions to other amino acids, but a full profile of amino acids is required for protein synthesis.

I never mentioned my intelligence or any type of credentials until someone asked me. I'm not patting myself on the back, and I was actually invited back here and told to post. That's why I started this thread, for the good people here at RX muscle that asked me to..

Ross, you need to film a training session and send it in for a iron asylum. You said you were going to do it in the past but always put it off.

IQ is pretty much irrelevant. No one is asking Stephen Hawking for a bicep routine.

great article and great discussion.......up until this post.

i hate it when somebody still tries to push something as a "the ultimate one size fits all superior method"

you've crossed the line between rational scientific discussion and gimmick marketing.

If you use a little creativity, don't mind a few assumptions, do some extrapolating, throw in some hypothesising and a dash of imagination then you have some rock solid scientific studies to back up your anecdotal evidence.

But at the end of the day Layne Norton has produced some real scientific proof to back this up and he is genuinely intelligent, so I'm not dismissing it.
