Yea - I think I most likely will ..... learned some things and in hind sight, would do a couple things differently. But, like anything else, gotta go a few rounds to get the real feel of it and KNOW what you want.

THREE DAYS OUT!!

So here we are!!

As of last Saturday - my bodyfat is lower than last year at this time AND we have put on some serious LMM ! Da BLING ! LOL I am coming in this year approximately 6-7 pounds heavier stage weight and looking to be even slightly more conditioned & lwr bf..........



Let me admit as well - the "heavier # on the scale" though ALL logic and common sense tells you otherwise, AND as a competitor - you KNOW not to pay much attention to the #........ when you have a year ago in your head and what the scale said.....tired, hungry, a bit beat up from the grinding end of things......you have to put the STOP sign up to the Mental games you begin to play with your psyche........Things have come together and have to admit I am VERY VERY pleased after this mornings pics! I've been on Keto for a few weeks now - always seem to respond pretty quick and well to it.....which I have.... BUT - the downside to that is being flat...flat...flat....flat !!!!!!!!!! We're talking thump when I walk flat tire flat!! haha..... In turn.... and in addition to the above scale #'s .......progress pics (though you KNOW you're flat and it will change) you begin to get the jitters and the ole "am I ready" head.....

Yesterday CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY!! for this hungry tired girl!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU SAY C A R B L O A D DAY!!!!!!!! Ever seen a Mother Lion fight ? Ya....that was me guarding my plate when peeps thought they'd stroll on by and take a nibble...haha..... they got the ole "You're taking your life into your own hands" glare.... yea...that's right....keep on walkin!


So - the mental games have cleared, I slept for a FULL night for the first time in a couple weeks, and woke up filled out and looking like a WP competitor!!!

I've bragged much about Austin and how well we've connected and work together....but, "bragging" often insinuates adding some fluff to one's story - so, this is NOT bragging - this is stating facts: Austin reached out to me after seeing some questions and frustrations I had posted....offered to see what he could do for me......

He critiqued old show pics, he reviewed current and prior nutrition, he reviewed my training and told me to give him a chance to help.......... and as they say.....the rest is history...... He threw out ALL old training, all old intake, and with it - my own self frustration in not improving show after show..... Now together closing in on two years - he has partnered with me, believed in me, and together - we have built an entirely new package. The fact that we've made the gains we have in one years time absolutely has proven that with hard work, commitment, NEVER giving up, and following direction to the T can produce astounding changes NO MATTER WHO HAS SAID you are at the best you are capable of pre-Austin.

With that - and back to my beginning statements of the "Mental aspects" of prep - committing my head to TRUSTING THE PROCESS.... and knowing HE is in charge of the process and to basically - receive and DO. Coach makes the changes/adjustments/and ALL I need to concern myself with is to DO!

When you already have a million things going on in your personal life with care for two extremely sick parents, hospital stays, critical situations, work, family, etc...... to simply say "consider it done" when something is implemented is all I cared to do ~ Take it - Do it - and keep moving forward.

This show was NOT on our radar and I pulled the trigger LATE in the game as far as prep comfort goes ~ and this show has some deeper strings within me as you know - I hope to make you proud and I hope to PROVE to the doubters of my past - WE BEG TO DIFFER!!!!

So - the show!! An additional WP category has been added - it was just height class (all open). Now we have a Masters category added as well. So - I will be in all of the above.

This will be my last entry until after show day - but I am most definitely READY TO ROCK!!!

I really appreciate all the kind words! I love working with someone that is willing to do what needs to be done, listen to why I do things the way I do and always give me great feedback. Adding 7lbs of muscle in a year is no easy feat for anyone let alone someone that has been in the game for awhile.

I am pumped that they added the additional category. You have been grinding HARD and it shows. Huge changes in your physique this week. Here are some pics from this morning. She is too modest to share but I am proud of the changes we have made this prep and the overall package.
