    Default delayed onsett muscle soreness

Is it necessary to experience DOMS after every workout.

My quads seem to be very resistant to soreness, I train them hard, or at least I think I do.

Does this mean I'm just not training hard enough, or is DOMS not the be all and end all of workout intensity.

Hope this isn't a dumb question.

no it is not. how sore you are has nothing to do with it unless your really hurting all the time. if that was the case it would be safe to say your over doing it.

    Thanks man.

I had been told, if you're not sore you're not training hard enough.

It didn't sound right to me, thanks for clearing that up for me.

Same here. JUst depends if I switch things up a bit, but I'm hardly sore like I used to be before competing. But if its a hard and heavy day, I love feeling the aftermath a couple days later.

    Thanx gentlemen,

I can relate, I definately feel better about a workout if I'm sore the next day.

I guess though, it's more important to be making gains and growing.
