I have been telling Matt that for a while! He will not toot his own horn, but he is a prep coach and now writes for FLEX. His articles are very well written, and I read them a few times just to make sure I understand his way of thinking. Very good stuff!

Is you list universal to women or do you have a different protocol?

D you believe with the tren a and e, to start as low as possible and increase the dose as weeks pass?
I have heard of a lot of people keeping test relatively low (sub 500) and just keep modifying the tren dose
What are your thoughts?
And how do you feel if someone does NOT respond well to tren would do with a mast/winni combo?
Thanks Matt

disregard the tren advice (just not so friendly to females)
Everything else could certainly hold value to females
Females IMO are much more difficult to figure out than male for seeking results.
Not to mention their emotional state is very hard to control or tame down for 16 weeks!

HEY NOW!!! LOL - C'mon - we are "kittens" while in prep mode!! (lemme know if you buy that!! LOL)
Thanks for the reply! So do you feel there is a "general" standard for females that can be tweaked as things do or don't respond - or is it way to individual to have a general starting point? (Mars/Venus and all that....)~Lorrie ~ Mediocrity is NOT an option! ~

Well, for starters I believe females NEED SOME CARBS in the diet.
Definitely not too many, but I have noticed females do better on carb based diets, rather than all out ketogenic based diets,.
I am just talking about 100-130g of carbs nothing extreme -- because I also know from research that women have a harder time burning off glycogen and reserve glycogen much more efficient than men.
Therefore their glycolytic response to cardio is crap -- and women MUST weight train to tap into fat after burning through glycogen.
I would also say women do much better with HIIT style cardio.

I have noticed this to be true with the women I have helped get ready. They seem to hold on to muslce better than guys, need more cardio. A few of them can train on an empty or very near emtpy stomach, and all of them LOVE Peanut Butter/Almond Butter. I have never understood that last bit. Dave P. makes jokes about it all the time.
Chris Aceto does not train women, but remembers these same things with his ex wife when he helped her prep for shows.
I tend to do carb cycling with most girls to avoid a metoblic shutdown to go low enough in calories to create the deficit needed and sometimes, depending on how stubborn their fat can be, do a couple days no carb followed by a low, med, high and high being 125-150 or so...depending on where in prep and size of the girl and how they respond to carbs vs fats.

OK - THAT made me litterally LOL!!! No "crack" for me!! Dammit!! Too funny and WAAAY true!! I have to REMOVE ALL P Butter from house when in prep !! For whatever reason - it becomes a SEVERE craving at times - "crack"!
GREAT points and just from personal experience AGREE 100% with all! I do NOT do well nor look good on Keto ( some say they can do and do well...believe in it...etc...) NOT me! Energy levels, strength, fullness, etc... ALL seem to go out the window for me if Carbs are severely restricted - mental and emotional function as well - AKA being a "bitch".... Could be what you were referring to?? LOL
Agree on the HIIT vs SS as well - once I kick in HIIT the transformation kicks up ..... SS seems to only produce very slow and minute changes...........~Lorrie ~ Mediocrity is NOT an option! ~

I don't know what it is...texture or something...the fact that the flavor seems to last. My ex wife would get up at 3 in the morning and by a jar from the store, eat it in the night and hid the jar. when we were separating and going through the house I found jars and jars of that crap hidden all over the place. I was amazed she ever got in shape for a show, lol.
