First off- I think it's safe to assume that there are plenty of pro's that are using synthol. Not saying all do but I think it's safe to say that it exists in the IFBB ranks at most levels. If you truly believe otherwise...you're not living in reality.
I actually get it if you might want to call out a pro that shows up on stage with lumpy triceps, delts (whatever). If someone shows up with obvious lumps and bumps and they place well, I see it as a little unfair. Not because it's "cheating" or whatever...but because it just does not look good. At the end of the day it's a contest based on how you look and someone with synthol lumps usually does not look good.
What I don't get is why it matters to you if it's someone that's not competing and not advocating the use of synthol to others (last I checked, Rich is not doing that...but if I'm mistaken, please let me know as I don't watch a lot of his videos).
IF the guy is using synthol...who gives a shit? Does this somehow impact your life? Is Rich Piana's method of physique enhancement somehow taking something away from you? He's not competing so it sure as hell isn't taking anything away from anyone else. Something tells me you're just hating on the guy.
By the way- what do you look like? If you're so keen on physique critique...let's see what you look like...

Just to be clear, I enjoy watching Rich's videos, out of amusement more than anything else. Second of all, if Rich did what he did with the intentions by you stated above, why does he keep spewing advice on how to be a better competitor, how to become a champion, how to train this body part or that body part?

You cant watch a bodybuilding-related video unless you are a fan? I didnt post anything stupid, the video showcases a man with apparent synthol use/abuse eating an unhealthy amount of ice cream. I actually gave him a compliment by saying that indeed only 5% of people would want to do any of that

...and when is the last time Rich has competed? Been a while since we've seen the guy on stage, hasn't it? So what's with the constant synthol comments? You seem pretty sure that he's got oil in those arms...do you happen to know Rich personally?
As far as him giving advice, I personally think it's fine. What he's doing is marketing himself/building a brand and he's doing it in a way that seems to be working. I don't see what synthol usage has to do with that. He preaches diet and hard training...and that's not bad advice for anyone. He isn't suggesting others use synthol is he? As long as he doesn't go there, then I don't see the problem.
If you're going to say that Rich using his own physique as a marketing tool is wrong because you think he may have used synthol to achieve that look...then how are other supplement companies any different? Every bodybuilder that has his/her physique plastered on a supplement add has had to do something extreme to look that way.
Rocky, I think you've made some idiotic comments on this forum...but I do not believe you're stupid. You must be able to see that Rich and every other bodybuilder out there, use their physiques as a tool to market whatever it is they are trying to sell...or help someone else sell. You know these guys go to great lengths to achieve what they have with their physiques...so why is synthol usage (away from competition) such a problem for you?
I see no problem with a grown man doing what he must with his own body. I do think synthol use is dangerous. I would not do it and I would never encourage someone else to do it. Regardless of what Rich may or may not have done (and I really could care less) he is not suggesting that others use synthol, is he?
If you can't see it from that perspective, let's agree to disagree.
