ARTICLE: The NFL Meets The IFBB
BoKnows.jpg
Sometimes I wonder what would happen if NFL football players would pursue bodybuilding instead of football. There are some true freaks of nature playing professional sports. I never made it to the NFL as a football player, but even at the collegiate level I saw several thoroughbreds walking through the locker room. Look at our current and defending 2x Mr. Olympia, Phil Heath. He was a former college basketball player at the University of Denver. Sure, he was a well put together kid, but nobody could have ever guessed he had the genetics and desire to be a bodybuilding superstar. Even Ronnie Coleman played football at Grambling before joining the police force and eventually becoming a legend in our sport. So what if America’s freakiest specimens decided to forgo millions of dollars in football and pursue the sport of bodybuilding? Would we see the first 400lb contest ready bodybuilder?

I remember an article about how athletes could later develop more muscle because of how they trained their body.. IE: Long distance runners could later develop huge legs if they transferred over to bodybuilding.
Something about the over-training not being condusive to muscle growth at the time, but developing neurological pathways to enable future muscle development.. Fuck, wish I could remember the name of the article.
I also believe that Kai Greene mentioned something similar to that in an interview one time.. I believe he was being interviewed by Dave, or that Dave mentioned it on an episode of HMR.

I haven't read the article yet, but upon reading the title, my immediate thought was = "...there would be zero white guys in the Olympia" haha.
The NFL gene pool is deep with freaks, and the fact not many people get into bodybuilding is the only hope for us whiteys!

Some facts were off, but that's just me being picky. The base salary isn't higher than two Olympia paychecks combined, although not far behind.
For the 2012 season, minimum NFL base salaries are ...
1) Rookie - $390,000
2) 1 year - $465,000
3) 2 year - $540,000
4) 3 year - $615,000
5) 4-6 year - $700,000
6) 7-9 year - $825,000
7) 10+ year - $925,000

It was a great article and reminds me of several arguments I've made regarding bodybuilding and genetic freaks.
So many say there's only X amount of freaks out there. Wrong. There's more than you think. There is so many that don't even train and even more who don't even know about bodybuilding. So yes, there are a lot more genetic freaks out there than we know. We'll never know who they are until they train/diet/supplement like we do.

I read Bo Jackson's book when I was a kid. He said he hated lifting. He said he only lifted a few times in school and the only time he lifted in the NFL was when they shot the Bo knows commercial.

Nothing to do with sensitivity.
I just dont like reading poor work. If I wanted to read this style of writing on a regular basis, I would have became a 3rd grade teacher.
lol. Did I give you an idea from my post WHAT my disdain for the article is? I dont believe I did.
On another note, try rubbing ice on her nipples. Hopefully this will increase her pleasure during nipple foreplay.Keep Ritch Banned. FOR-EVER.

BCS National Championship is in a few minutes. I think we'll see several tonight who could stand on an Olympia stage if they wanted to.
