Anyone buy grass fed beef online?

I'm sick of paying as much as I do at Whole Foods and looking for a place online. I found a few sites but the prices were no better and I'd like to buy from somewhere someone can recommend me rather than buying meat from a totally random place.

I would think it would be just as bad online with shipping etc..

Look for a local farm, or butcher they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I buy quite often and so far the best online source for me has been US Wellness meats. I'm not sure on the price difference between them and whole foods but I'm sure they are a little cheaper. Here is a link...http://www.grasslandbeef.com/StoreFront.bok
Also here is a link to all of the AGA certified producers. Not sure where in South FL you live in but you should have a local farmer in the area. I found one about 2 hours away that is willing to drive down to my area. I buy quarter cows once in a while because you only pay about 4 bucks a pound or so.

I've never known where to look before. I've never heard of Amish people down here in S. Florida. I'm in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area

I don't mind the prices of WF grass fed beef, but maybe that's because I'm always buying their bison, so it's a relief when I grab some beef! lol
Last year I visited a local farm up in the northern part of my state that sold grass fed beef and other meats as well as RAW milk/colostrum. The beef was great quality and only $6/lb, sometimes your neighborhood grocery store kroger/albertsons has decent priced grass fed, but you gotta grab it on sell otherwise it's the same price as WF.

find a local farm. i pay 5.5o a lb for grass fed ground, which isnt ant different than reg ground really. and i live in the boonies....so if i can find it...

So I searched all day. Finally found an awesome looking place that's 2hrs from me that delivers down here every other week. Email them back and forth finally getting the price list. $2 more a pound than I'm paying at Whole Foods. At 3lbs a day that I eat, that ain't gonna cut it!

That's the site I ended up using. The closest one to me is the one I posted about. Going to check some of the others and see if they deliver all the way down here.
