High LDL cholesterol, but low Triglyercerides
Another interesting observation from my physical.
My Total cholesterol was 208, up from 204 the last year.
My HDL was 51, and my LDL was 142, which was up from 138 last year.
Normal is < 100
For my tryglerides, total was 76, down from 80 the last year, but still well with normal range (<150).
My diet again is mostly keto/paleo, with some cheat days, but also some saturated fats like pork bacon and sausage, and butter.
You would think high cholesterol and triglycerides go hand in hand, but nonetheless, the doctor was happy, and indicated my risk for heart disease is pretty low.

Regarding Carbohydrates and triglycerides: The initial treatment for high triglycerides needs to be a diet with low carbohydrates.

Most likely this speaks to that you're following a "clean" diet.
