I cant stand listening to that Ian dude, i think he swears to try sound cool. Whats a dickhead.
Quote of the Show when Dave was trying to prove his point about real world experience vs text book information "you can read a book on how to play tennis, but until you get on a tennis court and hit a tennis ball your not a tennis player". Brilliant!

This Ian guys claims a calorie is a calorie but yet he doesn't think someone will gain weight when they over eat by 200 calories?? He contradicts his own ideas.
he later goes back and claims he doesnt believe a calorie to be a calorie. This dude is killing meLast edited by Colin K; 02-19-2013 at 12:20 AM.

I actually left the studio when Dave was debating Ian. I found him to be an annoying know-it-all. The kind of kid who would benefit from a punch to the face.

I love how Layne Norton made his video preaching about fiber and now Ian is the biggest fiber advocate ever.

I had a lot of fun with the interview; however, I suspect Ian may not have. I'd definitely have him on again though. Debate is a good learning tool. Ian's voice does remind me of comedian Andy Dick ... Don't u think?

I can't believe Ian didn't call Mr. Poptart Aaron Singerman for his leg to stand on. Aaron got in great contest shape with regular intake of said food.

Ian McCarthy wants to be what DH Kiefer is already. Problem is DH Kiefer already exists and is a million times better at what Ian wish he could do. He poses as someone who can read studies, which I'm sure he can. The thing is he can't properly extrapolate what the information from the studies is truly saying or how to interpret and utilize the results in real life for bodybuilding, fitness and weight loss. Other problem, he has no true first hand experience to speak of. He's never experienced what it is put all your energy into preparing for a contest. He's never tried multiple training and dieting techniques for himself to say first hand why or if one works opposed to another. He trusts what is on paper and happened to a rat or what was done in some study he never witnessed before he'd ever try it out for himself. I would like to hear a third round of this debate with Ian and DH. They seem similar in methodology (to say that is even a stretch) however Ian is the cheap Japanese knockoff you buy on streets from some shady guys trench coat.
