Protein Pancakes
1/2 cup oats
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder
2 egg white
tsp vanilla
splash of milk
tbs stevia
put this in a a small blender and than cook like a regular pancake

Sometimes I will use banana flavored protein and add a banana to the mix. Blend it all up...so good!

For a carb alternative you may try flax meal, I have not done it. If you try it and it works let me know I might do it when I am cutting

that would probably work because the egg and milk should hold it together. good thought.

I've done it with no oats and more egg whites to do it low carb.

So you did it with just protein powder and egg whites? I imagined it had more of an omelette taste and texture rather than pancake.

Not really on the taste, the protein powder takes of on taste. The texture is not really like a pancake it is more dense (I guess because there is no gluten). Never the less still pretty good, something different instead of eggs or protien shake in the morning.

I have some Banana Creme oats coming from winning a myoatmeal.com contest....the banana protein powder seems like an interesting idea for pancakes....gotta get on that for a carb meal ont he weekend
