    Default Day 20 and 21

    Yesterday the was NO GYM as my best friend was graduating from college (with her 4 degree) so that was the bigger part of my day. Just took a rest day off from lifting and ate some meals.

    Today (21):

    Just cardio and abs, no carbs all day except for 2 later meals. One was a little bit of carbs and then dinner was an ALL YOU CAN EAT Taco Extravaganza I was happy! Looking forward to hitting the GYM HARD tomorrow after a long day at work.

    Will be checking my weight on Friday (or Saturday Morning) and REMEMBER Next Sunday is Mother's Day!!!!

    Damn, today I felt like I was extra aggressive and EXTRA Horny, it was a strange mixture of the two, but I for one am NOT complaining. Felt great all day, and I also made up in my mind that TODAY was the day that I was going to test my strength and just make it a HEAVY and HARD type of day!!!

    Gym Motivation:



    Workout was as follows:

    Incline Barbell - Got up to about 185 for 20 reps, and then dropped to 135 for a blow out at 30

    Incline Dumbbell - 4 sets, got the 90s up for 15 reps (EASY) and then did a drop set to 50 for 30 (that was the last set) so each week my weight has increased,

    Flat Dumbbell - 4 sets with 80s for 20 reps

    Dips - 4 sets

    Wide Chest Press (Hammer strength) - 3 sets, 2 45s for 20 reps

    Hammer Strength Flat Bench - One Arm 3 sets - 2 45s for 20 reps

    Cable Cross overs - 3 sets

    Finished up with 3 sets of flat bench to failure, ended it at about 185 for 15. I was SPENT but felt great, then hit some abs and did a little bit of cardio!!!

    Tomorrow is going to be a HEAVY leg day, so instead of high reps, lower reps with weight, so HOPEFULLY everything holds up

    Today was a HEAVY and HARD day for legs, and MAN did it feel good. I am not the heaviest squatter and I think THAT is one of the main reasons for why my legs have always lagged, its just not one of my stronger body parts.

    But today felt great, they gave out pizza at work and all I wanted was a diet soda, a few of the "bigger" ladies gave me crap for cutting and I polietly said, "I do not want any of your fat people pizza, slow your rolls".

    Joints feel great and recovery is TIP TOP

    NOW ON to legs

    Gym Motivation:



    Leg Workout:

    Warm up - 8 mins on the bike and 2 set of leg extensions for reps.

    Squats:

    135 X 15
    225 X 15
    245 X 13
    275 X 10
    275 X 10
    285 X 8
    305 X 5
    305 X 5

    Man, I was SPENT

    Leg Press: 4 sets of 15, last set had 7 plates on each side (EASY WEIGHT BABY)

    Leg Extensions: 4 sets of 20 - last set had 150 lbs

    Leg Curls: 8 sets - last set was the whole stack (135 lbs I think) for 12 reps

    Then did some calf work and walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes

    I was spent but also surprised how heavy I was able to go, AND how fast I recovered between sets. My partner was dying.

    Just ANOTHER day in the office. They had another party at work, this time with Cheesecake and I politely said No thank you. I still find it funny that after working with these people for 5 years, they still think I will change my eating habits for a random day.

    Felt great all day and I noticed more vascularity than usual, which is ALWAYS a good thing

    Workout:

    Side lateral (seated) - 4 sets 15, with last set going from 40s for 12 and then dropping down to the 20s for a burn out at 30..

    Dumbbell military - 5 sets of 12 to 15. Last set was with the 85s for 11 (weight has increased each and EVERY week). Then did a burn out with the 45s for 30 reps

    Upright rows (close grip for 2, wide for 2) 4 sets of 15 and last two sets
    through in front raises for 10 reps - Got the 80s up for upright rows for 20 and then grabbed the 40s for front raises

    Hammer Strength Reverse Press - 4 sets, last set was with 45 and a 25 for 12

    By this time I was SPENT

    High Cable Pulls - 100 lbs for 15 on the last set of 4 X 20

    Close Grip Press (Like hands at the side military press) - 4 X 15, last set was at 290 for 12

    Dumbbell shrugs - 4 sets of 15, last set was with the 85s

    Barbell shrugs - 4 sets of 20 - Working sets at 185 max

    After that did some abs and cardio and I was PUMPED like crazy

    ARM DAY ARM DAY ARM DAY!!!!

    Since its ARM day we all know what that means, LOWER carbs. It sucks but hey its what I have to do to make sure I don't became a tubby guy!! I've been there and will not go back!

    But today was good, work was kind of stressful but hey its what happens when you work in the Financial Industry!!!

    BUT workout for tonight:

    Hammer Curls (Mountain Dog Style "Across the body") 5 sets, last set was with the 40s for a GOOD 15 and then a drop to the 20s for a nice burn out

    Rope Tricep Extensions - 4 sets of 15

    Preacher Curl (Machine, Don't know the name/brand) - 4 sets of 20, with the last set being set at 90, then a drop to one arms with the 30

    Dip Machine - 4 sets of 20 - Last set was 2 45s and a 25, and then a drop set with 2 45s for 20, then 1 45 for 15

    Straight Bar Curl - 4 sets of 15


    Incline Skull Crushers w/ Close grip press - 4 sets of 20

    Cable Curls - 3 sets of 15

    Tricep Pushdown - 3 sets of 20


    All in all a good workout, I had a "new" training partner that wouldn't shut up and kept talking about how he is on Anavar and HGH and I just looked at him and shook my head. He looks like NOTHING and politely told him I don't think I can lift again as my other partner is coming back

    Higher carb day tomorrow with back, going to try and do more with the Rack Pulls

    Default Day 26 (Friday)

    Well, today was a GREAT day, mood is up, everything feels great and I even had a TON more carbs than usual (somebody bought me an extra lunch from work today) so I ate THAT plus my own meal. So I was pretty happy.

    I am feeling and look a lot leaner than usual, so I decided to check my weight after the gym session. I was hoping for maybe 240, but I checked and it read 245. I had to redo it a few times as that means I have been gaining YET losing body fat. Which shouldn't be happening, BUT I will take it!!!!


    Then it came time to destroy the iron!!!!!!

    Barbell Rows - 5 sets of 15 - Got up to about 225 for a good 15, and then dropped to one 45 for a good 30 as a last minute burn out.

    Pulldowns - Used the handle bar pulldown attachment, and I was holding for a count of 2 at the bottom, all the way up for a GREAT stretch. Got to about the 170s for 12, and then did a burn out with the 120. BACK is feeling great now

    T Bar row (machine this week) - 4 sets of 15. 4 plates and a quarter for 15 reps, then 3 plates for 12, and then finally 1 plate for a good 25 reps to burn it out

    Low row (hammer strength) 4 sets of 15, got up to 3 45s for some good working sets

    High pull row (hammer strength) - 2 45s and a quarter on the last set of 3 for 12 reps. Those sucked but made my back feel great

    Close grip cable rows - 3 sets of 12 - last set was for 160

    Rack Pulls - Got up to 305 for 10 reps, with the 65 lb bar so everything was heavier and the bar felt more awkward. BUT it was still a good pull

    Stretchers (Mountain Dog movement) - 3 sets for 15, last set used the 100s

    After that I was spent but still felt great. Did some abs and cardio and then headed home to eat!!!!

    Saturday (27):

    Off day from the gym, just had more of a carb heavy day to get them in and feel good. Went to an Open Air market that they have down here in Florida. I picked up some homemade pasta for my mom (as a late mother's day gift - as she lives in Indiana but I will be heading home on the 22nd to see her!!!)

    So that was fun just walking around and seeing everything that they had to offer.

    Sunday (28):

    Did some fasted cardio in the AM and then just took it easy. Just got back from a friend's Mother's Day Celebration where I devoured some chicken and ribs!!!!



    Everything feels great, but I am kind of sad that the Osta will be ending soon

    Default Day 29 - One Day Left :(

    Alright, so today was a good day. A little bit bloated and back up from the excess protein and other goodies I had over the weekend but everything feels great. I am really feeling the libido coming back with full force, its crazy!!!!

    But today was an AWESOME workout for chest, I was strong on EVERYTHING:

    Workout was as follows:

    Incline Barbell - Got up to about 225 for 6 reps, I was SPENT but felt great

    Incline Dumbbell - 4 sets, got the 90s up for 12 reps (EASY). I could have gone higher, but I didn't want to give up form

    Flat Dumbbell - 4 sets with 85s for 15 reps

    Dips - 4 sets

    Wide Chest Press (Hammer strength) - 3 sets, 2 45s for 20 reps

    Hammer Strength Flat Bench - One Arm 3 sets - 2 45s for 20 reps

    Cable Cross overs - 3 sets

    Felt great during the whole workout and everyone says I am looking fuller lately!!!!! I have to agree!!!! Looking a lot fuller but weight is down and I look and feel leaner in my eyes!!!

    Default Day 30 (Tuesday)

    Was not one of my best days. Had a hard time sleeping, tossed and turned and had NO energy in the am. Happens to the best of us, but I powered through the day but come workout time I was zapped.

    Workout:

    Squats - 8 sets of squats with the last set at 225 for 10.

    Hack squats - 5 sets 10 - 15 - Ended with a 2 45s for 12 reps

    Leg Extensions - 6 sets for 20 (with the 130 lbs), moved toe position with each new set

    Lying Curls - 8 sets of 20 - Got up to 110 lbs for 15

    Seated calfs - 4 sets of 15

    Standing calfs - 4 sets of 15


    After that hit some cardio and was just plain old pooped

    Will do an overall update on Friday/Saturday and give my final thoughts

    But right now, Osta is the shit!!!! I feel great even though I am worn out from bad nights rest

    It happens man!!! Sometimes we get days like that. But I got caught up on my sleep and I destroyed shoulders yesterday!! I kind of miss taking the Osta 3 times a day with my meals
