I have a feeling a lot is being blown out of proportion. And to think Cedric contemplated retirement from the US Army? Better rethink that one. If he really went back to the airport tonight instead of staying at the venue to meet and greet with fans then that is bad form in my opinion. Hoping he cooled off a bit and came to his senses.

I understand that but forum members opinions should only represent themselves and not the opinion of RX Muscle. The whole point of a forum is as an outlet to express and share individual thoughts and opinions.

Ok, that's it. Ced is 100% out.

Cedric was dq for being late. He tried to address this and get back in last night. He was told he was not going to be able to compete. as of 4 pm today it was reiterated that he was disqualified. Cedric wanted to compete that's why he came to brazil. He wanted to compete after he was disqualified. He wanted to compete and was under the impression he was going to all the way up to 4 on saturday at which time it was communicated that he was out of the show. Everything else is conjecture 100 percent guess work. Cedric would have payed a heft fine to get in but that option was not available.

So funny Curt. I was thinking of both Kal Szkalak and Sergio when I started reading this thread and how far "being your own man" gets you in the pro bodybuilding world.

I really like Cedric and I know he is a guy with his own values and stuff, but I seriously think his approach where he really refuses to play ball is not working out for him. I know he says he does things for himself, and hates all the pressure put on him etc...says he is okay with taking a few years to get his conditioning. I just don't know...I honestly believe in his head he is doing things for good reasons, but the fact of the matter is everyone else plays ball and endures the gauntlet. It's starting to come off poorly in my eyes...


Everyone else sucks it up and listens to the people when they aren't happy with their conditioning, everyone else shows up for crap they don't want to, etc. It might be silly crap but if you don't want all the attention and extra garbage, then don't get involved with a professional competition.

Again I know it's not arrogance on his behalf, but to people who don't take the time to listen to his interviews, it would certainly come across as that. Or just plain lack of intelligence....Tons of people would die to be in the IFBB and have "pressure from fans" and athletes meetings to go to. It's disrespectful to complain about it.

Cedric doesn't need BB he enjoys it therefore he's not going to act like a dog on a leash for something he enjoys. He doesn't strive to be a millionaire otherwise he wouldnt of joined the army and stayed in so long, he has values on what's important and will compete on his own terms and if they don't like those terms then its no sweat off his back.
