What up all!!!
I know its been a bit. Started work with another company and after a week I dropped 10lbs and Im eating the most ever up to 500g carbs and still dropping metabo faster than ever. It has been over 110 degrees here and I sweat buckets all day it feels great lol. I was 210 2 weeks ago now about 197 or so.
Got a big promotion after the first week. I'lll be running a big year long project. Less physicall but alot of mental. I have a different approach now that Im 40 and anxious to hit work!
On a plus Ill be able to eat full meals instead of rushing down shakes at work
Havent missed a meal, cardio or training pretty much ever.
Since April Ive put 2" inches on my quads, an inch on my calves, an inch to my arms and over an inch to my chest. A little over an inch to the waist too though. Overall very happy with progress and I really not deep into offseason yet. Im still pretty lean.
Ive been reading alot on how you guys approach offseason. I'm going to take the slow and stay leaner approach. I feel its alot healthier for me as I notice my chrons and DI system takes a hit when Im pounding the food to quick. I have to build my DI system at the same rate to stay lean while growing to not have issues that set me back.
Pluses to staying lean are the weather here is always warm and in a t shirt or less so always looks good. My food bill is slightly cheaper LOL. I know for my frame/ht I need alot of size but this is my hobby not my living no need to rush things for me to gain some weight. Coming from a fat guy who still has a big appetite I just dont want to go there again to stay lean a few months a year for a contest. I love living the lifestyle and doing shows as a means to an end of the year . Not do everything just for show day. This is for me for now LOL
Changed leg training alot, finding different foot positions and where to push off on lets me feel it it different areas of the quad something Ive never felt before. Also higher reps sometimes shorter sometimes longer ranges of motion, more pumping or slow and comtrolled. Legs are responding well. Iam really pushing the shit out of myself every session no matter what. But its a good push way more pumped in the legs like an arm day.
Legs/calves
seated leg curls 6 sets
bb squats 8 sets of 12 very controlled, pushing of ball of foot
leg press 6 sets 10-40 reps
leg ext 4 sets 2 sec squeezes
bb stiff leg dead 4 sets
calf press 6 sets
calf raise 4 setsStop by my Training Log: RichDC2's Log

Eating good, hows the mirror treating you? Probably holding strong at 197 after dropping a good bit of weight.
Congrats on the new job.2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

Whats up guys
Work is busy. Im eating/prepping more food then ever, feels like I dont have much time for anything other than that training and work! I love it though still getting in plenty of family time.
Turning things up a notch latley. Work is so pretty physical and my training sessions are always intense weight was stalling a bit in fact i lost some. We are over 4,000 cals now, over 400gr carbs on training days 7 meals plus intra which I love, plenty of energy and pumps throughout the workout
. As much as I'm not crazy about shakes I have to sub 2 or 3 out a day for time reasons and to give my digestive system a break between the food.
Im still doing a weekly cheat but honestly I dont even feel like having it. Im content on my normal clean food meals. But that wont stop me!
Found out through bloods and my trt doc i am extremely estro sensitive which makes me hold water very quuicly and lots of it goes right to my love handle lower back and almost no where else! WTF!
No wonder why i get so fat so fast especially if I didint train or have low activity. knowing that we have some different plans of attack. I am getting a bit smoother but this is what it takes for me to put on some size. Too lean doesnt work as well for me, at least not at this point.
Otherwise Chrons under wraps and felling good. 40 is the new 20!
have a good one men!Stop by my Training Log: RichDC2's Log

Good to hear things are going well. What time have you been getting in the gym?
If you are going to train on Sunday, lets try to get there at the same time. Be good to see you.CutlerAthletics.com
