Suffices to say Shawn gives people that feeling on their asses when they've run out of toilet paper and nobody is home to hear you yell for help.

About a year ago I was at LAX waiting for a flight after finishing a photoshoot. I was just talking on the phone and Andy was randomly walking by. He just looked at me, flexed his arms, smiled and walked away. I was so thrown off guard that I didn't know how to respond. I liked him ever since hahaha

Andy just seems like he LOVES the fans. Most people compete in bodybuilding to win shows, Andy just likes being around people

I ran into Andy and his family in Venice Beach July 4th 2011. They were at the table next to us in a side walk restaurant. They chatted with us, asked us to take pictures of them and were gracious. They were truly the happiest family I have ever seen. Says alot for the poppa bear.

When I was at the 2007 Olympia Shawn was standing up the back of the place where the meet the Olympians was, I walked up said hello, went to ask for a picture and he kinda brushed me off and turned and started talking to the fella next to him. Made me feel a little awkward.

Well, im in a Jay DVD, he was cool. Have interviewed Masoom Butt, really nice guy, have interview Vince Taylor, very cool. An on my first visit to golds back in 2006 i think it was, i met Gunter and traded sets on leg extension machine. They are my "nicest" but I have met almost all the top pros both past and present except Phil Heath (have seen him in person but never spoke).

Spoke to Mark Dugdale and his wife, nice people. Also the same with Dave Henry and his wife.

Flex Lewis is cool and Zak Kahn too.

Partied with Gustavo Baddell one night in Ireland too.

Oh and also met Kai one evening when he was training with Charles Glass in Venice, really humble.

Now that i think of it I could name dozens of good experiences,

Hard to pick just one.

Awesome to hear all these great stories about pros taking the time to talk to everyone and not snubbing them for the most part... They're people just like us AND they were fans just like us at one point too... It's sad when some people forget those 2 things...
