Hi fellas,

Am new to bodybuilding.

After years as a semi pro soccer player and sprinter, I used to lift purely for strength/power.

But now want to get big.

I am 30yrs old, 6,2, 210lbs.

Basically I would like to know. What the deal is with strength progression, for example on a lateral raise, do I work on increasing my numbers each week?

I have a friend who is competing this year and I outlift him by a mile,m but he goes relatively light, yet carries a lot of size.
